Recently l visited this garden, and found a mixture of both informal and formal gardens that were interesting to wander around. I personally found the National Garden Centre part of this garden very inspirational, with its small well designed gardens. The price of the entrance was 7 pounds and l would highly recommend coming here. You will also find here a very good restaurant serving hot/cold food drinks etc..
We've visited these gardens several times over the years and always find new and interesting things to see. The gardens are very large, split into different sections so there is enough to please lots of tastes. There are beautiful plants, show gardens, ruins, water features and animals. You can easily spend the day there and stop for a picnic, either at one of the many picnic tables, sitting on the grass bring your own blanket or in the canteen. Perfect for a quiet stroll or for a fun packed family outing. There are stamps dotted around the gardens for young adventurers to discover and collect, just ask for a card at reception. Try not to get lost in the maze! On this occasion we visited for the Easter Egg Hunt. We had beautiful weather, which was a bonus. A bit disappointed that you had to pay extra for the bouncy castle and slide and for face painting but I guess it's to be expected. There were plenty other free activities to keep the kids busy.
An amazing 40 different gardens and woodland walk with a variety of different plants, bushes, trees and lakes, spread on 30 acres estate which are beautifully done and very well maintained. Lots of benches everywhere to enjoy this heaven on Earth place. There is also a mini zoo with very well looked after different animals, the restaurant with a good selection of sandwiches, cakes, snacks and drinks and very pleasant and polite staff and the gift shop. Although there are no ball games, frisbees, bikes or scooters allowed there. Also, keep your furry friends on a lead. Plenty of free parking, including disabled parking. We spend an awesome, quality time and enjoy every minute of it! It was definitely a great weekend choice!
Stunning gardens. If you are local to the area and like going to Kew gardens check this place out! I took the family here for the Easter egg hunt which I recommend, but regardless of it being an even day the grounds were stunning. The flowers, plant and trees on show were beautiful. There are a small number of animals here too. This is a perfect place for a picnic and to walk around taking in nature at its best.
Excellent gardens to be seen. There are some amazing displays and is lovely to walk around with plenty of benches tucked away. This is a college that allows visitors. It has a small cafeteria and also has toilets and is suitable for prams. Plenty of free parking Restrooms: Available
We love this place. The price is so worth it. Animals, flowers, a maze, beautiful grounds, fairy garden, sensory garden. It really is a great place to go with children. Nice cafe too. Best time of year is summer but we go all year round.
History, beauty history, beauty, elegance, tranquility, fairytale magic, romance, everything is so beautiful that you don't feel like going home anymore. a great place for the whole family. we left very impressed by such a bit of history and elegance.
I went here for the first time with my daughter's for the Hoppy Easter Fun. The gardens are so beautiful with a lot to see and do. I would definitely go back just to visit. Great for a nice family day out and great for all ages.
