Nice covid-clean place with limited but competent menu. Try Amy's coleslaw. Prices are great. Good beers on tap. Do it!
Butch and Amy's place is simply your typical neighborhood watering hole. My wife and I like going there because if the classical rock being played and the late night grill that's open. Get a late night burger or pizza before your trek home.
Totally ignored by bartender! We did manage to order one drink, the female bartender barely spoke to us. The bartender and the obvious regulars were at the far end of the bar with us near the door, the bartender had no intention of checking on us or talking to us again. Didn’t even finish our drinks and left. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
The food was awesome and homemade. Prices were very reasonable. Service was excellent. The owner also the bartender was knowledge, entertaining, engaging. Would recommend.

The best margarita I've had in my life. When back in Monroe I will definitely come back to this place.
Nice small town bar located right of the main square. Owner is a great cook and usually makes daily specials.
