This place is pretty cool. Friendly and helpful staff. First time here, had to get a cheese sandwich. It was delicious, sometimes simpler is better. Got cheddar with onions and horseradish mustard. Definitely coming again sometime.
One of the great pubs in the country. Extensive selection of beer and great soups and cheese and meat sandwiches. Authentic local ambiance you seldom find anymore.
if your in town you have to at least go and try it but go with a open mind cause it is a one of kind place!
I like your second best chili I like the root beer they have there on tap and I like Limburger cheese but I don't like pumpernickel bread or I like to ride light rye bread or the the regular rye bread that used to get I like for you guys to go back to those rye breads

A "must stop" whenever in Monroe! Great sandwiches, soups, deli meats and cheeses. Good beer selection, very friendly service, reasonably priced menu. Cozy cafe with adorable old world charm! Always a delightful experience!

Baumgartner's is seriously old school cool!!! The server said they've had the same menu since 1931. Basic high quality sandwiches. We got some aged cheddar and smoked Gouda, delicious and reasonable prices. It has a really cool vibe. Highly recommend.
Food and service is always great! Highly recommend!
