Fred Meyer

I don't know if this is general Fred Meyers policy or just this store, but the last three times I've stopped in this specific Fred Meyers to run in and grab something real quick, I have to go find an employee to price check certain items before heading to checkout because I can't find any indication on the products or on the shelves that lists the price.nnFirst time was on a pair of pants. I ended up not finding my size so I didn't want to buy them anyway, but I thought it was strange that I couldn't even find how much they were while looking at them.nnSecond was a bag of bread in the bakery. I stood there for a while wondering if I just was overlooking the price, but I could not find it anywhere. I had to go ask the employee behind the counter and waste her time when she was in the middle of doing other things, which didn't make me feel great.nnThird was today, when I ran in to grab a gift bag for a Secret Santa I'm exchanging tonight. NONE of the gift bags I looked at had prices listed. I had to wander around looking for an employee to ask, and eventually ended up waiting at customer service just to find out the price. What a waste of my time just to find the most basic of information as a customer.nnEverything in that store should be clearly labelled. Again, I don't know if it's company practice to do this at all their stores, but it makes me feel like Fred Meyers is trying to pressure people into buying things that are more expensive because they might not notice how much products cost until it's rung up. Everyone who walks in that door deserves to be an informed customer and not be embarrassed at checkout.nnI never want to shop here again. Which is a shame, because it is the closest grocery store to my house so it should be convenient. However, it loses that convenience if I have to run around once I'm inside just to know how much I'm spending. What an annoying thing to experience.

Fabulous job catering for my mom’s 75th Birthday. The fruit, veggie & cheese platters were exceptional and the chicken & ribs were perfect too! The young dude that helped me was very patient & helpful. 10 stars!

Excellent, spacious place with a lot of variety—almost like a mini shopping center where you can find everything in one place. Perfect!nnHowever, the downside is the lack of employees available for assistance. If you have a question, need help finding an item, or want to save time, it’s very hard to locate someone to assist you. It would be great if they implemented a system like a bell or call button in specific areas so customers can request help when needed, especially during times when staff seem less available. Overall, a fantastic place with room for improvement in customer service accessibility.

There are some good people working there. But there are a lot of rude employees who act annoyed when I ask for help. Also today the security guard followed me around and gave me dirty looks. I have been a customer here for over 2 decades but I do not feel welcome.

I’ve always loved Fred Meyer but I really love them like the past. I don’t know if five or 10 years because of their plus size dipped jeans. I love them so much and I couldn’t find them anymore. I still love Fred Meyer. That’s why I am giving a five star review but I was very disappointed for a while there because even the stores that carried the plus size dip jeans didn’t help them anymore, but I’ve recently lost a bunch of weight so if you guys have them at all now, I might be able to enjoy them in the smaller sizes thank you for being a wonderful store.
