Fraser Valley Fire Protection Ltd

Very disappointed in the customer service, or rather lack thereof, of Fraser Valley Fire Protection. A couple of weeks ago they set up the annual fire inspection with our strata at which point I e-mailed them twice trying to get them to do my unit first, or at least before I HAD to leave for appointments I had set up months ago and couldn't easily move. Needless to say they never once got back to me. After speaking to my strata about this lack of communication I was advised to meet the employees from FV Fire Protection in our lobby at 8 am. I went down this morning at 750am to ensure I caught them. As they came in I was happy and said "Just the guys I was hoping to see" and asked if they would be able to come to my unit first as I had to leave by 845am. The response was a gruff "We'll see what we can do". I explained again that I had to leave because I couldn't move my appointments and the same guy asked when I would be back and I said at least not until 2pm. Again the reponse was a gruff "I hope to be gone by then and a we'll see what we can do." About 20 minutes later a different employee showed up and tested my unit's alarms in less than 5 minutes. I was upset with the lack of reply from the office and then the gruff and rude communication with the employee. I went out of my way to get this arranged before they arrived because they also threaten to charge you extra if they can't gain access to your unit and are required to come back. I'm not at all impressed.

Extremely knowledgeable staff. Great to work with.

Seem to be nice people, unfortunately, they do not do new construction
