This location is the newest private eye surgery facility in British Columbia. The highly advanced and fully integrated facility hosts two operating rooms dedicated specifically to ophthalmology procedures, including advanced cataract surgery, laser refractive surgery and general oculoplastic surgery. A separate clinic side is equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment to allow diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts and general eye conditions. Dr. Chu, Dr. King and Dr. Ma are some of the ophthalmologists who will be providing care at this facility. We welcome all patients who are seeking general eye care. Our facility is dedicated to serving patients in the Fraser Valley and Metro Vancouver. We are located on Highway 10 in Surrey, just minutes from Abbotsford, Langley, White Rock, Delta and Richmond, with easy highway access to all points in the lower mainland and ferries.

Dr. Chu has performed cataract surgery on my eyes. Both surgeries went extremely well. He is an incredible eye surgeon with magic hands and is very professional and patient. I was quite nervous and tense sitting in the waiting room before operation. My blood pressure went up high but Dr. Chu made me feel comfortable and cheered me throughout the entire surgery process. I did not have any pain during surgery. I am now very happy that I can drive and read without any glasses. I highly recommend Dr. Chu to anyone requiring cataract surgery.

Dr Chu and his staff were very professional and knowledgeable. I required a complex laser eye surgery treatment that was not available in Alberta, and had to go to the lower mainland you get it done.

I would give this place a ZERO star if there is such an option. We had an appointment which we arrived 10 minutes before. We were brought into a room 5 minutes after appointment time ( a good thing I suppose). This is where the nightmare begins. We waited in the room for more than 75 MINUTES. Let me emphasis on this: I didn't exaggerate, it was more than 75 minutes. I went out and asked for a staff member: US: Hello. we have been waiting in the exam room for almost 1.5 hours. When can the doctor see us? THEM ( a few minutes later after consulting with front desk): I don't know. The doctor is in surgery and we don't know when it finishes. How much longer can you wait? US: we have already waited for more than 75 minutes, maybe we can wait for another 60 minutes? THEM: OK, wait then (our question: Why would you schedule the appointment if you knew the doctor would be in an surgery? If the surgery is emergency, can you try rescheduling? ) US: We parked in a 30 minute parking zone, we would have to move our car or we might be ticketed? THEM: That's OK, we will dispute your ticket if you got one. (Our question: Seriously can you tell me how you can dispute OUR ticket if we got one? Are you my representative? ) (20 minutes later)... an doctor came in (NOT the one we are supposed to see since the doctor is still in surgery): How can I help you today? US: We don't know, the doctor wanted us to come in and discuss exam result we did last time we were here? The doctor (after 5 minutes later looking through records): everything is fine. Nothing to worry about. This is the WORST clinic I have ever visited. Avoid it at all cost.

I get eye care here with my husband. The staff are always helpful in getting us in early for various eye problems. We have seen Dr. Chu and Dr. King over the past 2 years. They are professional and knowledgable. The tests they do are quick and efficient, and seem very modern compared to our old eye doctors. We are very grateful.
