My experience with Fraser Valley Cardiology has been very unprofessional, especially given the seriousness of my medical condition.nWhenever I contact the office with concerns, the standard response is that my email has been “forwarded to my cardiologist.” This left me feeling like appointments are scheduled simply to fill their calendar, rather than to provide meaningful patient care.nThere have also been issues with respect and communication during examinations. During one heart test, I was examined by a staff member man new comer in Canada, not having Canadian experience of being asked whether I was comfortable with the situation to undress myself. Previously, my exams had always been conducted by female staff, and I believe patients should always be asked for consent and comfort preferences.nAdditionally, the front desk experience has been disappointing. On one visit, I was left waiting while the receptionist stepped away for personal reasons, showing little regard for patients’ time or professionalism and she only cared how she looked. I was embarrassed to talk to her because of her big lips injected.nI have been assigned two cardiologists for a couple of years now, yet neither has been responsive to my emails or able to assist when I have questions outside of the appointments. I have been told that I was in the CT scan at St. Paul waiting list for over two years without clear information or updates.

I had a really great experience with one of the receptionists, Camille. She helped me when no one else would, listened to me and was extremely kind when I was struggling. She was able to get exactly what I needed done quickly and I’m extremely grateful for her help and kindness!

Dr. Bains is a very caring and thorough cardiologist. I trust him implicitly. After years of misdiagnosis and various procedures and treatments, he took the time to review my complicated history, sent me to a neurologist to confirm my issue was Primary Autonomic Failure, not really a cardiac issue. He continues to monitor the situation and take care of me. If any person requires a cardiologist who will go the extra mile to give you the best quality of life, I highly recommend Dr. Perminder Bains. The front office staff and the diagnostic technicians at Fraser Cardiology are pleasant, polite and professional.

They got the job done but their doctors below the main guy are quite rude, kind of speak in a dehumanizing way like you dont know what your doing who you are and all that and they think they got their own superiority complex, now most of them were nice and to the point including the main doctor who phoned back and said i was all good but one of the doctors made a rude remark l like basically telling me im a idiot because the question i asked out of curiosity, so idk the guys name but he should be barred from this honourable job, you must always keep yourself positive at any career field no matter how tired or stressed you are because you are the reflection of your company, work field and boss

Almost impossible to get through by phone. After I sat in the phone queue for ten minutes, they dropped the call. I called back. Waited. The call got dropped again. Most irritating when you aren’t well and need to reschedule an appointment.
