Frank Jameson Community Centre & Swimming Pool

Its great. Its clean. Fun, friendly staff. The workout gym is small though. Few machines. I just really hope they dont sell massive amounts of memberships because the workout gym cannot support to many members; the space just isnt there. Im hoping they build an addition to that part because sooner rather later its going to be very busy, to busy in fact. The.town of Ladysmith can AFFORD to build an addition. However i have zero complaints, the place is impressive and i enjoy being.there.

I have been coming here for 5 years and I’ve never had issues with the facility, however there is this one worker with blonde hair and glasses who has been nothing but rude, unwelcoming, and unfriendly to my friends and I. Immediately when I walk in and I see her I no longer want to attend my planned activities and feel like just turning around and leaving. She’s never greeted me with a smile on her face and I am instead always turned to with a scowling expression. She never looks happy and seems quite miserable. I tried to go to the bathroom recently and she told me I had to scan my pass to use it. Around a year ago I encountered an issue with her and haven’t forgotten about it since. When I didn’t say thank you to her for something, she said to me. “What do you say to me? You’re supposed to say thank you.” and then rolled her eyes towards me, simply because I forgot to say thank you to her. As someone who works a job with the public I personally wouldn’t ever think about talking to a customer like that, I couldn’t imagine making such a crude remark to someone paying the place that employs me.

Friendly staff, clean change rooms and pools were great.

I've been coming here for a year now to have a quick shower no more then 5 or 7 minutes everyone has been great except this one employee not sure of her name however she wears glasses says she's been there for 18 years well she is rude and judgmental she has no personality and made me feel like common scum. Iam a working woman who happens to live by limited means. I have paid 5 dollars every time but twice with this lady she was agian demanding and extremely rude and charged me 10 dollars to have a quick shower well no one was there. This has also happened to a friend of mine she also was treated very badly like we were street people. And was charged 10 dollars. Just this one lady and she is not very good with people and she's been there 18 years how can someone like that so rude and demeaning to the customers still be working in such a public place. I am 3 for 2 with this woman and I don't want to come back because of her. I'm on disability and I work so I think I should be treated with respect. Thank you a 52 year old previous customer who is sad I won't be back.
