Always greeted with a smile and offer for cup of coffee. The cook’s keep customers wanting more.Excellent flavors and the best service. We love the breakfasts the most. We love the fried eggs and bacon, omelettes and skillets. You can eat healthy there too. Try the chicken salad croissant with fresh fruit for lunch or a turkey club sandwich and a cup of chicken dumpling soup. Very hearty plates of food. We also love the fajitas and the breakfast burritos. Their Friday fish fry is delicious and their lunch menu satisfies. We have been there more than 30 times in the past two years. The servers are very attentive and they treat you special always smiling and engaging in small talk while taking your order. A family run business that is worth your time and money. The owners and their sons and daughter make everyone feel welcome. Their bar is a nice place to have a drink too. We are regulars and hope you will give the Four Star Restaurant and Bar a try. If you do, you will be going back for more like us. They know us as Bob and Michele
Turn up the heat!! Yummy food, very friendly and quick staff, ample parking. We were there in November and it was too cold inside. All of us had to keep our warm jackets on. I get that the workers are warm, especially in the kitchen, but it was flat out uncomfortable.
We went on Christmas day because of it being open. They accommodated our small group and seated us. An interesting menu heavy on the Greek influence. I choose the chorizo skillet. It was done perfect. My GF ordered an omelet with a request and her mother had the spinach omelet. It is a place I'd consider going to as breakfast spotFood: 4/5
Excellent Service and Food. Angie works tirelessly to make sure her customers are always taken care of. The Owner & His Family are very welcoming and attentive. Would recommend this place for any meal.
OMG How to start .. Seated immediately . The place looked like I was in a chow hall at the old folks home. The place was dirty. I should have left. Waitress was nice . THE FOOD, TERRIBLE .. Salad lettuce brown. Tomato old soft and mushy sent it back .. Waitress came back with what she said was the best one back there. Still brown and wilted. Fish was greasy and cold as if it was fried old grease . I wasn't home for more than minutes and my stomach felt as if it was to explode. The entire next day I felt horrible.. BEWARE DO NOT EAT HERE ... HUGE mistake .. If you are looking for slow service at a filthy place with terrible food. This is it. Otherwise drive by.. KWIK TRIP across the street would have been a better choice for dinner.
Went to dinner on a Tuesday, it was taco Tuesday. I did not intend on eating Mexican that night but I went with it. $13.00 for a chicken quesadilla with rice and beans. I'm fond of Mexican food and this I was NOT impressed with. Rice was cold and very odd tasting. It seemed as if it sat the whole day. The beans were bland and dry. The quesadilla was average as well. The other order was a chimichanga with rice and beans. The chimi was average and again a hard pass on the rice and beans. We addressed our concerns with the very kind waitress and asked for a manager. He proceeded to ignore us until we went to the counter to pay. We again addressed our concerns and was told "nothing I can do". He never offered a discount or any accommodation for our experience. The bar had customers, but the actual restaurant was empty. We were not looking for free service, but a minimal discount would of been appreciated. $52.00 for our bill and honesty worth $15.00 if that. WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!
Went for a taco Tuesday with my girlfriend... had a great waitress! Food sucked! Asked to talk to a manager. He never came after waiting 10 min. Went to the counter to pay and nobody was there.... guy in the bar area turned around and asked are u ready to pay. I said yes. Asked if he was the manager, he replied yes.... I mentioned how the food was not very good and how i was puerto rican and loved rice and mexican food and all kinds of stuff! I said how the rice and beans were horrible but MY chimichanga was good and my girlfriends whole plate was not good and she eat none of it. He pointed at all his regulars in the bar area and said "they all like it"! Then said... I'm not gonna do nothing for you. You owe $50 for you and your girlfriend. Mind you out of this big place his dinning room was empty. Needless to say I paid my full bill and I can tell you I will never go there again! Waitress got a good tip because it was not her fault.
Fabulous place to eat. We primarily go for breakfast, so that is all I can really speak on, but never a bad experience.Food: 5/5
I always drive past the four Star family restaurant in Pewaukee. Telling myself one day I'm going to stop in there and see how good it is being a waitress myself I am very particular with my food not only did I receive good customer service while explained to the person who took my how picky I was I was laughing to myself thinking this poor person having to take my order he actually walked my order out to my car and when I got home I am pleased to say I am very very very satisfied.
The service was fast and very good, our waitress was friendly and handled my ornery grandfather well. The food was nicely portioned and very tasty. Definitely a great place to stop for breakfast or lunch.
