This pool seems to be more focused on group lessons. If you’re planning to go for a swim, I recommend checking their schedule on the website or calling the front desk in advance. We couldn’t visit because on weekdays from 4 PM to 8 PM, it’s open for lessons only.
Love going swimming at Fountain Park, the staff and fellow swimmers are cordial and respectful, there is plenty of space to swim and the water in the pool is fairly warm compared to some other places. The change rooms are quite spacious and clean, my only dislike is the showers in the women’s change room. They are cold and feel like someone is spitting on you, so it’s hard to rinse off properly.
I love this pool & the pool area is great. The change rooms, however are not kept up. The swimsuit dryer has been out of order. The showers are really bad, merely spitting lukewarm water at you while you're expected to fully shower before entering the pool. I've noticed most people don't bother. The handicap shower works, but if you're handicapped, there is no holder for you, you have to hold the shower head yourself. Changing the showerheads or even treating them with vinegar/citric acid overnight like you do at home would make a huge difference. It's sad to see the small things fail that would actually make a big difference.
A great place for swim lessons and lots of lane swimming available. There is a spacious hot tub and diving board and toddler pool. However, my big complaint would be there they recently removed the large water slide and replaced it with a very small underwhelming splash park for small kids.
Good facility, friendly staff. The instructors are great, all of them have been great for our kids classes. Some of them even remember our kids.nnThe locker rooms and pool deck area could use a sweep/mop a bit more often I think.nnOne thing that I don't like, the clocks in the pool area are 3 minutes slower then the actual time
