Forester Inn

I have always wanted to try the Forester INN restaurant/Bar for many years, but it is an hour+ drive for me. I finally stopped in with some friends a few days ago on a Sunday. We stood at the sign that said wait to be seated for several minutes and finally decided to seat ourselves. There were only 3 tables with customers seated and a couple at the bar. We noticed that our waitress was also the bar tender. She was able to take our order quickly, and our food came up in a reasonable amount of time. The food was excellent and I would recommend it highly, however.... after our food was served our waitress never came back to check on us ( fortunately there were no issues ) and several more people came into the bar and several more came to eat plus the phone was ringing and the lone/ bar tender/waitress/phone order taker etc.. was way too busy to get us our check or ask if we needed more drinks. I hope this was an isolated incident the service could have been much better. This was not the fault of our waitress she was good when she was able to be there. I will give this place another try in the future.

We just moved to the thumb a week ago and have been here for both lunch and dinner and have been very satisfied with our meals. Their daily specials are cheap and tasty...plus you get the salad bar with it...great bonus!!

We went for lunch so maybe it's better at night, but the food was bad and the service was terrible.

Comfortable. Nice people. Great burgers & pizza.
