This was one of the poorer breweries I have ever been to. Please note that I am not commenting on the food because the only thing I tried was some specialty fish dip they touted as an appetizer and came out cold in a tiny plastic (to-go) dip container. It was not impressive.
The beers were really disappointing. The only one that I would have considered ordering a full pint of was the Umberon, an obvious rip-off of Oberon in style and name (so much so that I am surprised Bell's hasn't sued them). Everything else in the flight (and we tried every beer they had on tap that day) was hardly memorable. Bland and boring would describe virtually every one. For a brewery, I fail to see what good beer they produce that would cause anyone to return. Perhaps the limited availability of breweries in this region mean people come here because they have no other choice?
The service was also lacking. I could have sworn our bartender/waitress (seemed to be the only person other than us in the entire place) was only 16 but I don't think that is legal so I will assume she was older. She certainly didn't know anything about beer or much of their menu, having tried almost none of the food or beers and knowing nothing about beer itself.

Ok, so I read the reviews. And, maybe it was just the wrong day (Saturday at 6pm) But we waited to be seated (not a problem) about 15 mins until two other couples walked by us and got seated immediately. We waited another 10 minutes before being seated and told it was a mistake that the other couples got seated first. Except they walked right up to the waitress in full view of us, laughing and chattering ensued and they were immediately seated.
The food would have been amazing, I could tell, but it was cold. Seriously, 2 of the 4 dishes ordered was luke warm to cold.
The waitress was missing in action most of the meal so we couldn't even order a second beer. I've never tipped 10% in my life, the lowest I've ever gone is 20%
She got 10%
Nuff said.
