Food Basics

Well stocked. I've found a couple of expired stuff on the shelf so check what you buy. Otherwise it's clean and not usually too crowded. Staff are friendly. Food basics is not my preferred grocery store but this location is decent for the chain

Website says they are open 8am-10pm Sunday's. My boyfriend and I wasted time, money and effort. We get there at 9:40 and they are no longer open. If you aren't open until 10pm that shouldn't be written on the website. Please change this incorrect and miss leading information.

I shop here regularly and would normally say the staff is amazing and always friendly, however after the way I was treated today by a cashier I will seriously consider shopping somewhere else. This cashier spoke to me in a very rude and condescending way when I noticed that an item scanned at a price I was not expecting. She all but said that I was stupid and that I didn't know how to read the difference between 'asparagus' and 'mushrooms'. I spoke to a manager and he apologized for the store and told me to call tomorrow to speak to the store manager (which I will be) I'm just very disappoint that it happened at all. Customers should be free to question a price when we believe it is wrong, we might end up being wrong about that price in the end but we should still be able to have it checked, computer mess up some times.

Some things were too highly priced especially the meat. Good customer service though. An employee told me exactly where to find something I needed. Cash register attendant was nice.
