Tried the gym shoe sub and it was amazing. Messy but tasted so good. Got the 12" and should have stuck with the regular size. Food was made fresh and fast. Small parking lot but plenty of side street parking if needed. I'll have to stop by a few more times to try other things I saw pictures of that looked good.
This neighborhood spot has been here for years - and you will see everyone from local first responders, college students, office workers, and contractors there. Anyone who's in the mood for a tasty, filling meal at reasonable prices. My own favorites are the gyros, cheeseburger, and Reuben. Staff are always friendly, and all my orders have been correct and piping hot. Thanks!
The Spicy Chicken Sub is delicious, and the very best for miles. Their gyros, hot dogs and burgers are also very good. I have been coming here for years and they are always fast and consistent. That's why I give them 5 stars. Don't forget to sign up for their rewards program so you can start getting points for free food and texts with awesome coupons for great savings.
Our family can’t say enough good things about Flips!! From the incredibly friendly staff to the delicious food and generous portion sizes, it’s always an overall great experience. Good little hot dog, Italian beef, and gyros place. The portioning and cooking temps have been inconsistent since Covid or I would rate it 5 stars. Still a great place to eat though.Food: 4/5
Awful and argumentative. The woman tried to tell me how to order what I wanted. She said "it's gives you a deal like this" I said no it doesn't it's just a bunch of add ons and cost almost twice the amount. As the line got longer and I got more frustrated I just gave up and over paid so no one had to keep waiting. Just wanted a burger with a egg, and cheese fries with meat. It was so simple a child could have understood. But I was charged 2$ extra for a larger burger which I stated multiple times was the wrong one. Then she charged me 4 more dollars on a meal deal that I still didn't ask for then charged me separately for the cheese and meat. Which they already have on the menu for much less money. Overall I'd rate it zero stars for trying to tell me I'm wrong about her mistake then proceeding to get angry when I said she misunderstood me. Will definitely not return even if they give me the close to 10$ back.
I love going to flips whether it's just for a specialty salad, hot dogs, euros, and a large variety of chicken dishes. The food is always fresh handled cautiously and the servings are large. I would recommend going to flips to anybody. Kid-friendliness: Flips is very kid friendly. There's outside access to a patio where kids can make all the noise they want. The patio has plenty of room to wander on you know kids don't like to sit still long. Parking: Flips has plenty of parking. You can pull into a spot right off the street. Or they have a good size parking lot in the back with easy access. To me a sign of good food is plenty of cars in the parking places. Dietary restrictions: All their food is made fresh on the premises. If you have some type of dietary restriction they can accommodate you very easily.
11am stop in for a gyro. Been stopping at flips since years before the addition.. today gyro was next to ice cold.. funny we waited a decent amount of time before getting our order! Took back said it’s cold, think they threw in the fryer for a minute.. still was cold.. maybe luke warm now.. but greasy as can be.. pita was soaked in grease. Well, don’t see guy who use to care about the place here any more.. and you probably won’t see me here again either!
My husband & I both love Flips. The food is always delicious & the fries are to die for. They have the best Reuben of anywhere around that I have found so far.
Flips never disappoints! Great food prepared by great staff. They have an easy to use frequent diner program and coupon events like all the chains, but they are family owned and staffed by long time employees. And they do catering too!
