This is a very nice small park in the middle of the city. There is a court to play sports, and there are lots of trees and green spaces. There is also a nice playground area for kids with slides and other rides. You can walk around the park in 15 minutes, but you don't need to go far to go for a walk or take your dog out.
It is s nice little park. It has small ballfeild, a paved walk around the perimiter plus swings and climbing equipment for kids. Great veiw from the bench at top of hill.
I've been to Flinn Park a lot with my son, and it's typically a calm, quite neighbourhood park that is quite a bit bigger than you'd expect. Lots of green space, great hills for sledding in the winter, and two playgrounds and a swing set. There is also a baseball diamond that gets used fairly regularly, and several benches. Street parking only, but there is lots of it. Overall, an excellent neighbourhood park. Occasionally some broken glass near the margins of the park, but not often.
I've been going to this park since I was born in the 1960s. I lived right by this park until I was 12 years old. My sister and I tabogganed there every winter. I have not been there since my son was young. It's worth checking out.
Nice and green park. The children play area can be enhanced with mats. And add toilets and shed near play area just in case it rains.
It's not a great baseball diamond.. the players have to play uphill. There's a rock in the out field that's not in a great place. The bass tie downs don't line up with the plate at first. Okay for practice or goofball.
really disappointed by HRM's decision to place a homeless encampment right at the quinpool rd side entrance to the park
Very beautiful little park.
Playground equipment is fairly spaced out leaving lots of room for groups to play. It's on quite a hill though so be mindful of little kids running around!
Great little park. Nice walkway along the perimeter. Lots of raspberry bushes and benches. Dog-friendly on a leash. There are a few play structures and a baseball field as well.
