Everything is delicious here but it’s the service that’s truly amazing. We were greeted by Jeff and Jacque, who were so kind and thoughtful. In fact everyone we encountered were friendly - you really feel like they want you to have a great experience. We ordered the smoked meat platter and smoked meat poutine. The smoked meat is better than Schwartz’s! Make sure you get dessert too - we tried the Cherry Cheesecake and Carrot Cake. Both are awesome and not too sweet. Definitely worth the drive from Calgary!
This place has phenomenal poutine and smoked meat sandwiches. Very filling portions and at a great Value. If your looking for a different type of fast food then look no further than this Montreal style joint. Will be on my radar for years to come, can’t wait to try the entire menu
One of the best cheesecake I’ve ever had! Definitely worth the trip if coming from Calgary. Portions are huge, we ordered one sandwich, one poutine and one cheesecake to share for 2 people and left completely stuffed! Can’t wait to go back and try other the sandwiches and cheesecake.
Possibly one of the best Montreal meat smoked sandwich and poutine we've ever had. They don't skim out on cheese and gravy on the poutine, sandwich was delicious. Their desserts were awesome as well. Will definitely go back many times, all the way from Calgary.Food: 5/5
A family member told us the Italian sub was the best he'd ever had. Well, he was right. Delicious and could only finish half so we can have it again tomorrow! So many choices, it's difficult to choose! It was worth stopping in Airdrie for. There are only 4 or 5 tables but we ended up sharing with two very nice gentleman.
I stopped in on a whim because it's next door to a really nice cannabis shop. The staff were incredibly nice, very accommodating of the woman ahead of me with celiacs. I had the steak and pepperoni sub and it's the best thing I had in Alberta. The turtles cheesecake was also really fantastic. Such a great spot and highly recommended if you're in Airdrie. Parking: Small lot, 20 cars maybe. Wasn't busy.
Thought I'd try this place out. At the moment they are not offering stay in dining. I was disappointed to see their bathroom was also closed to customers. I had the smoked meat poutine. The serving size was very generous! And I enjoyed the meal. The to-go container was a bit challenging as I couldn't mix anything while I ate it in my car. The fries were great, the gravy and meat too. The cheese was good but if you trade it on the squeak, there was no squeak to be had.
Went here with my wife Saturday morning, I hand a standard poutine she has a Newfoundland poutine turkey stuffing and we enjoyed a skor cheesecake. Very good food, very friendly staff, really enjoyed it and will be going back. Cafe style restaurant.
Tried twice over the last two years. Got a Montreal smoked meat first time and it was amazing. Got one recently and it was lacklustre and smaller. Also got the cheeseburger and the Patties were not seasoned and bland. I will say that their customer service is very good.
After seeing great reviews on the Calgary Foodies Facebook page, we were inspired on a whim to go there for dinner last night. A quick trip to Airdrie and we found Flavours of Montreal on Main Street shining like a beacon of light in the dark. It’s a thin parking lot with maybe 7 spots, but people are moving through quick! You are greeted by smiling energetic staff when you walk in, and we had Melissa greet us and explain the menu as it was our first time! Very well done!! A full cabinet of in store baked goods with the exception of gluten free foods looked amazing! We tried the Skor cookie sandwich and Skor bar, both delicious! For our dinner we chose the Reuben sandwich and the Newfie poutine! Both were generous sizes and filled with quality ingredients that were fresh and delicious. The Reuben was STACKED with Authentic Montreal smoked meat, cheese and tangy sauerkraut alongside a pickle. The Newfie poutine had good sized fries, with cheese curds and gravy, then what made it special, topped with a maritime stuffing!!! I love stuffing and this was the most amazing combination ever. Thank you Flavours of Montreal team!! We will be back to enjoy more of the menu!
