Five stars for Patty- her Worx classes are my favourite!!nnAlso huge thanks to the General Manager, Eve, for always giving timely responses and listening to member feedback. When I first joined the gym I was unhappy with the experience, but I spoke with her before cancelling and she immediately fixed everything I spoke to her about. Now that I am unfortunately going to be leaving the province she made the process of cancelling my membership simple. It’s too bad there aren’t any Ontario locations so that I could continue my membership!
I had a great experience at the gym last week, thanks to Cat at the front desk. The payment machine wasn’t working, but she handled the situation with professionalism and a great attitude. She was friendly, understanding, and made me feel welcome. Really appreciated her help, it’s clear she cares about providing excellent service!
I started working with Anna Zimmer at the beginning of this year. I was coming back from dealingnwith some injuries and very painful Achilles tendonitis and was mostly focused on physio with little to know exercise other than some walking and stretching. I got to a point where I wanted to get back into a fitness routine and feel strong again, but was nervous about my injuries and how to get started. I was also struggling with my confidence on top of that.nIt was a blessing to have gotten paired with Anna. She is amazing! She’s so knowledgeable about the physical anatomy, but also equally as mindful and concerned about the human being element and the person she is training. You can tell she has passion for what she does and how much she cares. We hit it off immediately and I felt very supported by her and motivated to dive in. She built a training program with my concerns and goals in mind and was consistently checking in and modifying it if needed but also pushing me when she couldnsee I could go further life more weight or do more reps.nFor the first time in my life I saw incredible results. In being fully committed to the process and with the self discipline, consistency and Anna’s expertise, I can say my physical and mental health are at an all time high. I would highly recommend Anna if you are looking to get started or build on your existing fitness journey. She’s the best!
I’ve had the privilege of knowing Eve C, the General Manager of Kitsilano, for two years now. She is the most inspiring, motivated, and hardworking manager I’ve ever met. Her work ethic is unmatched, her ability to inspire is contagious, and her dedication to maintaining the gym’s high standards is relentless. I genuinely don’t understand how anyone could criticize someone who consistently goes above and beyond, work really hard, always get things done efficiently, and keeps the entire team driven, united and productive.nnHaving met many other managers at fitness world, I can confidently say Eve C stands out as the best, by far the best. She truly deserves the 'Manager of the Year' award, every year. She’s such a role model, I want to be more like Eve chan, more people should aspire to be like her. Kitsilano FW is the place to be with Eve there as the GM!
I booked 3 PT sessions with Pedro and would highly recommend working with him! I amnrelatively new to the gym but he explained the exercises really clearly, and gave me a lot of confidence to be able to do the workouts myself. He is super positive and seems to care a lot about his clients’ progress- I have really enjoyed training with him. I would however try to use the gym outside of peak hours as otherwise it is too crowded to use the equipment.
