I wasn't expecting a comptoir as I thought this was a resto with table service and the prices were dine in prices. The dishes we got Tuna salad poboy, fried shrimp, 2 piece fish n chips were very good and I would revisit again. There was a slight Asian fusion in the dishes. My only complaint is the prices but we weren't disappointed by the taste!
Very good Ubereats experience. Food arrived crispy and fresh and was so delicious. Fries were chunky like you'd expect from a good chip joint. It was so good in fact, that I ordered the same thing not 30 minutes later for another go.
Very casual style, not a beautiful terasse but the sandwich with shrimps was delicious but too much mayo. The fish and chips with Caribbean spices was super tasty and well cooked. I would recommend for a craving of good fried fish in a casual ambiance.
I ordered the shrimp Po’Boy with the expectation that it would taste like the New Orleans style one so I was a bit disappointed with the taste that had no Cajun seasoning and lacked in flavours in my opinion. The English fries were good tho a bit chewy. That said, the price was totally reasonable $19.55 including taxes and the portions were good. Service was friendly and my order was ready in no time. I’ll come back to try other items and might change my rating then.
Delicious fish, sightly pricey for the type of establishment. Portions were a bit small too. But nonetheless we were happy with the food and the service.
Quick service and they serve delicious Poboy sandwiches, anf satisfyingly crispy cod bites! Don't be one of the many people I heard walking by saying "this fish and chips place looks good", try it out! It's definitely worth itFood: 5/5
Cute little place to eat as a single family, Delicious fish. My family enjoyed their supper.
Their service and food are both great. We had their fish and chips and Cod Burger both we prepared and served. It's a great place for seafood fast food if you've had enough of Maccas or KFC. Definitely recommend it
I discovered them when I first moved to NDG and now I grab food there whenever I’m around Monkland and have a craving for Fish n Chips. I like their restaurant model where it’s almost a food stand. They’re so ideally located that it’s perfect to pick something up and eat at a park 1 min away in the summer. Their fried cod sandwich is great and massive
Perhaps it was the time of day, or perhaps it was an improperly trained cook, but this was truly a poor experience. I realize that finding good fish and chips in Montreal is not easy, but this must have been the worst in my experience. And my experience has been many decades and in several continents. I hope it was just an off-day, but I am not so sure. The "battered" fish was a really meagre portion wrapped in a thick layer not of batter but of a heavy dough it was more like a pogo. It looked big, but was probably barely ⅓ fish and at least ⅔ dough. The chips were properly cut British style, but both they and the fish "pogo" were mercilessly overcooked. There was almost no inner tenderness in either. It seems some people like this place and the food, and I wouldn't want to discourage them from continuing to eat here, but I would suggest they also try some other places too.
