Newman Steakhouse

Pleasantly surprised. My girlfriend and I decided to give Newman's a shot a couple of weeks ago, and we loved it so much that we already came back. Both experiences were fantastic! Steak is as good as the the top steakhouses in Montreal at a fraction of the price. Everything was fresh and tasty. Service is great. Cannot recommend this place enough!

So over all experience very nice and comforting. The waiter was very polite and nice. Beautiful atmosphere. The prices were fair. The only little issue we had was the menu. Very very very little option. In choice of meats and fish. I get it. It's called a steakhouse for a reason. But a little bit more to the menu would be nice. That's all.

The place is truly stunning. Very clean, sophisticated and positive energy from the staff. We ordered calamari as the entry, it was delicious. For our main meal, we had filet mignon medium rare and the rib eye also medium rare. Both plates served with delicious baked potatoes, veggies and salad. Typically, medium rare is our meat temperature preference, but each restaurant has their own temperature. Next time, we will ask for “medium well” as we thought their “medium rare” was more “rare”. But, it was still very good! Over all, 10/10 customer service, 10/10 customer experience and 9/10 food experience.

I really enjoyed this steakhouse. The shrimp cocktail sauce was spicy & fresh, the drinks were strong and reasonably priced, the house dressing is really good and the steak was cooked perfectly. I will definitely be going back.

My friend and I both enjoyed our meal. The calamari was piping hot, the salad was fresh and a very decent serving, and my steak was like butter! And the side of vegetables was crispy. The menu is quite small, the wine list is not crazy overpriced, overall I'd say a nice place. Expect to pay 50 bucks for the steak, but that comes with all the sides.

Ordered 1 Sirloin + 1 Ribeye + 1 calamary Steaks were greats. Large portions like how like how steak house should be. Fries were to die for. Would of preferred grilled vegies over boiled ones. Calamari could of been better. Really hope this new steak house can keep their quality and become a Lasalle staple in the future.

First time experience and I must say it was a very pleasant one. Service and orders on point. Decor and ambiance very cozy and comfortable. Service was always available and polite. Managerial staff always on the lookouts in making your dining experience an A+. Ordered the 16oz ribeye! Cooked to perfection. Highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed!

Great place. Reasonably-priced. Food was excellent. We were a group of 12 . Everyone was happy with the choices they choose and nice size portions. Staff were friendly,helpful and we wanted for nothing. A nice variety of cocktails at fantastic prices. Pleasant atmosphere. All in all I will I definitely return.

Wanted to check this place out so tried the table d'hôte for lunch. Very glad I did and plan to go back. A soup came with the lunch that I wasn't even expecting, and it was delicious. Steak, fries, and house salad were great, even the coffee that came with dessert was delicious! I didn't have any booze but plan to give the drink menu a try in future. Service was excellent, and the ambiance was lovely too. Like I said, definitely plan to go back.

The staff was really nice, the food was good, with my husband we took stakes and the cooking was like we wanted. The ambiance is nice and the decor is nice! The washroom was clean and smelled good. I would definitely go back. A little suggestion to have a smaller size stakes options!
