First Shop Book Store

I forgot this existed here. I used to come here a lot when I worked in the area. I have many books signed by the authors because of this location. Ordering stuff online and having them deliver it here for pickup is extremely convenient. No issues with pickup either. Would definitely recommend.

This is a small location in the PATH but on the main floor. It seems mostly focused on gifts and home items rather than books so more of a lifestyle shop. There’s usually discounted tables with out of season products.

Cozy little book store only minutes from the King St entrance on the street level of the BMO building Scotiabank Plaza. The children's and young adults section have a decent array of titles, lots of little gift idea too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of magazines and a decent selection of both non fiction and fiction for adults.

Very pleasant service from the cashier. I started getting flustered, thinking I had lost something important. She told me to calm down, take a deep breath. Good advice. I followed her instructions & found what I thought I had lost!

Fantastic customer service experience! I stopped by the store an hour ago. The store sale price was higher than the Indigo web sale price on a pair of socks I wanted so I said it was okay and I will just order from their website. The customer service rep asked me to wait while she checks with her manager. She was then able to price match the web sale. The socks are for a birthday present this weekend and I was able to get the item at the store instead of buying from their website, possibly paying shipping and hoping it would arrive in three days. The customer service rep went out of her way and made it a hassle-free experience for me. Thank you.

Nice, bright, well stocked book store with very friendly and helpful sales staff. The store isn't one of the really big book stores, but it has a great selection of new releases and sales items.
