Firehouse Subs

Absolutely loved!! Wow!! I'm so glad that I tried it! It is the best takeout place that I have had subs in! ! I will definitely return!! Food I tried: I had the Smokehouse Brisket on whole wheat with caramelized onions, caramelized peppers, banana peppers, lettuce, tomato, and cucumber. The sauce is a bit sweet, and the heat of the banana peppers comes together with the sauce beautifully! Cost: A medium Smokehouse Brisket with an iced tea came to $16.33. Methods of dining: Takeout, dine-in, and a small amount of outdoor dining. See my pic. Atmosphere: You can bring kids here. It is a bright and cheerful place. It has a lot of huge windows. It has a firefighter theme. See my pic. Service: I think the manager served me, and she was a wonderful person -- very helpful! Parking: Free and lots of it. Wheelchair accessibility: There are two wheelchair spots and a sidewalk right in front of the store. The store is on the same level as the sidewalk. They have a wheelchair button for the front door. They also have a wheelchair accessible washroom. See my pics. Parking: The parking is in a plaza with other stores. It is all free. Walking into this location, I noticed that it was bright, clean and very well kept. It was a little busy. The employee at the cash counter was friendly and polite. The service was slower than expected. From the time I payed until the time I received my order, it took 15 min. There was 2 customers ahead of me and 3 employee. The subs were well made and tasted delicious. The quality of the ingredients were excellent.

Really disappointed with the sandwich I ordered tonight. Beef and Cheddar Brisket. It had so much BBQ sauce I couldn’t even eat it. Totally ruined dinner, absolutely peeved. It was absolutely disgusting. They should compensate ME for ruining my meal.

Went in to grab dinner for tonight and ordered 3 beef cheddar briskets. All 3 subs had extra sauce and onion. I payed $60. I was the only customer and there were 4 workers. It took 20 minutes for 3 subs that were all the exact same. There was no extra sauce on them or have any mayo or any onions. Will not return again.

Does this location smoke is own brisket out back? Because hot damn, this must be the slowest Firehouse in Ontario! Had enough time to contemplate my existence while waiting for that delicious smoked beef and cheddar brisket sandwich! But you still get a 5* review because I'd take a bullet for that boy making my sandwich! Yes, it's that good especially when you hold on the mayo!!!

Always a great sub but our visit Friday Sept 30th reflected a distinct lack of attention to detail this franchise is usually noted for. One sub was perfect, and one was NOT great. No pickle spears, either! Poor cleanliness of utensils left blobs of some reddish goo on the sub. Ketchup? Marinara? Hot sauce? BLOOD? They couldn't figure it out either. We'll drive to a little farther to another restaurant for a lot more care and quality. Cambridge site is going downhill, and fast. Too bad... it's been our go to for a quick bite on busy family errand days.

The turkey sub was great, the steak sub was horrible. The steak sub barely had any meat and was very dry, which is weird because all their other subs are loaded and juicy. But this one was not edible. Someone messed up. Do not order the steak sub.

Exceptional! I ordered a few subs for delivery with work colleagues using Uber Eats and was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and filling the subs were. Easily the best I've had in a long time! I was later taken aback when I received a grateful response from this location over my apathetic 5-star review left on Uber Eats. I thought this was a nice gesture and figured I should leave a more proper review. Will definitely be returning.

Super tasty sandwich I got the Italian and it was delicious. Also the chocolate chip cookie I got was amazing even though they forgot it at first cause I ordered online overall great experience will eat there again in the future.

I was a huge fan of Firehouse Subs when they first opened. In the last couple years the quality has gone down hill. The last Club sub I ordered was not like the original. By the time I opened it at home, the bottom of the bun was wet and soggy and they forgot to put the spicy mustard on it. Reading other reviews here I see I'm not the only one noticing that the subs are not as good as they once were. Back to Mr. Sub I go.....
