Just happened to be in the area and the Firehouse subs restaurant caught my eye. I thought, why not give it a try. The first thing I noticed was it's interesting firehouse style interior and the boldy colourful decor. This made me feel that I was in a higher level sub shop. I ordered the Smokehouse beef and cheddar medium sized brisket and enjoyed it. The meat and bbq sauce were very favorable and the sandwich was complemented well by the fresh bun. I wished that it was a bigger sandwich, but, when looking at the suggested calorie rating for that type of sandwich I think what they provide is more than enough to satisfy my body needs. The staff were friendly and service met my expectations. I will come back again when in the area and I think you will enjoy Firehouse subs as well. I've been here a couple times now. The subs are always delicious. Fresh with lots of meat and toppings. Quick and friendly staff. Restaurant is clean and so are the washrooms. Nice variety of chips/cookies if you opt for a combo too. Kid-friendliness: Study tables and chairs. Kids meal option. Parking: Ample parking in the strip mall lot Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp from the parking lot to side walk, no step to get in.
Pretty nice sandwich. Slightly pricey these days, but filling. Nice ingredients. Probably worth the cost these days over the name brand places!
Absolutely amazing! From workers to owners you feel at home , restaurant is clean and atmosphere was enjoyable, food choices were so great something for everyone! My husband had the meatball and I had the hook and ladder. We will definitely be returning customers, thank you for making our experience top notch! Wheelchair accessibility: Both my husband and myself are in wheelchairs and had no problems getting in or dinning .
Their pizza and meatball sub is out of this world. Add bacon to it and you will love it!
One of my favorite sub shop in town. The bread was soft and delicious and so far all the fillings were perfect. We ordered the meatball sub, turkey bacon ranch and smoked brisket subs.
Honestly the best sub I ever had. I worked at Subway for 5 years, and that doesn’t even come close to comparing. Staff is also super friendly. Don’t skip out on this place. You won’t regret it.
I order the platters from this location. The owners are great to deal with and always smiling. The staff are wonderful and I have had nothing but great subs from this location. They are very accommodating and are very generous with the toppings.
Great food especially since that other sub chain has stopped serving meatballs and tuna, Firehouse Subs to the rescue! Their subs are amazing , friendly staff and the place is always clean. Highly recommended, I will never to back to that other chain : Hope they open some locations in the Gatineau area.Food: 5/5
I’ve ordered subs here regularly for the last couple months. They are really tasty! Bread is so soft and fresh, and toppings seem like they’re good quality. Food is consistent, never had a bad experience. The subs are big and filling, and although it’s a tad pricy I’d say it’s worth it. I used to be a regular at Subway but I’m converted now haha.
