Visiting from Tennessee and man o man was this place great. I had a party of 4 that all got food. The food was delicious and wonderfully prepared. Service was great and attentive. One member in my party has a gluten allergy and ordered a sandwhich with gluten free bread. The waitress came back to inform her the ingredients on the sandwhich might still have gluten. It was a small detail that showed the waitress really cared about the well being and satisfaction of her customers. I got a guinness and they properly poured it! Some bars don't know the 6 steps to pouring a proper one, but these guys did! If I'm ever back up this side of the nation I will definitely be back and I will be recommending this place to others!
Stopped by for a quick dinner while heading to Arcadia. Super awesome place. The interior is made from the train car and it definitely created unique atmosphere. 21 beer on the draft selection is amazing. Menu covers all tastes and likes. They also had live music playing on Saturday night.
Absolutely amazing food! Great prices, very authentic foods, spirits and beers! Staff is beyond awesome and very accommodating. We will definitely be back again.
Amazing food. We have seen this restaurant a few times during previous visits to Ellsworth, but this is the first time we made it in. The oysters and mussels were top notch, and the blackened salmon on our salads was amazing. Worth the visit!
Excellent! Food and service are wonderful. Great selection of beers. Good background music at a level where you can have a conversation. And not a single T.V. - quite refreshing.
We were traveling through Ellsworth, and were hungry. Finns looked welcoming, so we went in. We weren't disappointed. The food was delicious and served with a smile. We ate every morsel. Dessert was over the top. We had Bar Harbor Wedding cake. I recommend it highly. Can't wait till I'm in the area again.
We had to wait a bit to get into a table. The crabcake with jalapeno tarter sauce was good. The fish and chip didn't taste very fresh and was really fried. It was really cold in the restaurant. Not as good as previous times. The server was pleasant and the rest of staff was good.
Some of thenworst food I've ever had , not sure hiw they have a 4.6 rating. My burger was dry and flavorless, the mac-n-cheese was like boxed m-n-c, and the Sheppard's pie was discusting
Ok, I’m a classic chicken wings girl. I don’t like fancy sauces, just give me the standard wings sauce. So, it was with trepidation that I ordered the wings at Finn’s. I asked for the sauce on the side because I was sure I wasn’t going to like it. It has dill in it, for crying out loud. I was wrong, so very, very wrong. These are by far the best wings I’ve ever eaten anywhere in the world. OMG that sauce is incredible! It would be worth it to drive an hour or more just to eat these wings. And that’s just the sauce, the wings themselves are super crunchy, not breaded, not oily, not fatty. They’re perfection!
Quick and friendly service! Definitely some Irish style dishes! Shepherds pie was amazing! Also good to dip their homemade chips in! The meatloaf and mashed taters were great!
