Finlen Hotel and Motor Inn

We've stayed here the last 2 years as a group for bike trips to/from Butte.nnStaff has always been helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The location can't be beat - right in downtown historic Butte, there's no shortage of places to walk to or things to explore.nnThe hotel has hot coffee in the lobby. In August 2024, some water main work seriously improved their showers. Before they were okay, but now they're hot and high pressure. Better than most chain hotels.

I stayed at this hotel about 3 years ago and got a great corner room with a beautiful view. I went back today to try to replicate the experience, but no go. A corner room on the third floor is $100 more than a standard room, and over twice what I paid last time. $250+... for a single?

I personally have not stayed in a room here. I often play for special events down in the Finlen's ballroom with my string quartet. But if you want a taste of Butte's historical past, the Finlen is a marvelous place to immerse yourselves. The location is right in the middle of uptown Butte.

I work for a Hospitality Management Company based out of Dallas, TX and I must say that Nora G. the 3-11pm shift Guest Service Representative was OUTSTANDING!! Her knowledge of the history The Finlen and her gracious time at the Front Desk was beyond a wonderful experience. She truly takes pride in her work, her genuine hospitality, and making all the Guest feel welcome. I truly was impressed by her!!! The management has a STAR employee in Nora G.nWhat a Grand Hotel Butte Montana has!!

The historical hotel is way over priced ! Small musty rooms , the window air conditioner hardly works . The bathroom is tiny.
