Delicious food, great ambience and friendly service. Our server, Hannah, was knowledgeable and accommodating. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and will definitely be back. The newer lunch menu offered a great selection of options including the incredible aubergine lasanga and saffon risotto. Both delicious!
My partner and I had a wonderful dinner here at Finkle Street.nnI had the scallops, he had the Cesar salad. The butternut squash purè beneath perfectly seared scallops was an outstanding start to my meal. The salad was crisp, perfectly dressed, and there was nothing left on his plate by the end.nnThe entrées were equally as stunning. The steak was prepared perfectly and the garlic mash was light and flavourful.nI had the halibut feature and it was by far the best fish dish I've ever tasted.nnDesert fully topped the meal off. Fresh light flavors and had the loveliest garnishes. Edible flowers! Edible means safe to eat, not necessarily enjoyable my partner learned this the hard way. nnThe staff were all so pleasant and attentive. Extremely informative, very friendly and so devoted to giving a wonderful service.nnWe unfortunately missed the chef, however we spoke with the head server and we could not give enough praise for our time.nn100% will visit this restaurant again.
Had such an amazing night at Finkle street, we came for an early birthday celebration and it did not disappoint. A farm to table restaurant with amazing servers Hannah to be exact we were not disappointed. Dinner and dessert 10/10
We love the menu including brunch, dinner and drinks. Tapas menu and other weekly specials are great too. Love the atmosphere. You can taste the quality ingredients in the food. Great location near movie theatre and other downtown venues. Generous owners too! Involved in lots of community initiatives.nnPs try their home made teas! Won’t disappoint.
Farewell Finkle, it's been a slice.nnMy friend and I have visited this restaurant a few times a year for as long as it's been opened. Tonight was disappointing.nnIf you've been here before, you may wish to review the menu before coming again. We were googling the ingredients in the dishes. What happened to the delicious simplicity of the previous menu?nnDo you enjoy apps? They're gone. We had garlic bread because it was the only food that seemed familiar.. it was soaked in oil and had no flavour.nnTonight, we ordered the Fenech onion soup burger. It was very plain and we deconstructed it and ate it with a fork and knife because the bun was soaked in oil or grease see photo. The truffle fries aren't the same as they were.. and the garlic aioli was just mayonnaise.nnWe skipped dessert; we almost left after the appetizer to find a different restaurant to have our main course.nnUntil they bring back some fan favorites, these fans will be enjoying truffle fries elsewhere.nnFarewell Finkle.
