Great local restaurant! Food is delicious but when busy it takes a bit longer and can get pretty loud inside which is understandable. Overall I really enjoy this restaurant the service is always great, food is very tasty and it’s a comfortable environment. I really enjoy the burgers!

Great service from everyone; bartender, host, waitress, manager. Crazy busy today with a street festival, but still felt welcomed and completely taken care of.nAmazing food, with very big portions. Cottage pie, roast beef Yorkshire bowl, and fish and chips. All superurb. Try the sticky toffee or brownie for dessert. You won't be disappointed.
Yesterday, I went to eat here. We were looking for a pub in the neighbourhood and The Charles Dickens Pub did not disappoint. Our Server suggested we try the Yorkshire Pudding Bowl with beef, which turned out to be amazing. We also tried the 8oz Haddock with poutine. The gravy matched perfectly with the cheese, the cheese curds were very fresh. Definitely one of the best poutine’s I’ve ever had. The fish was cooked perfectly as well with a nice batter.nThank you again to the chefs and staff, we will be back again.nCheers
Hands down the best place to eat n enjoy when visiting Oxford County area if you’re looking for that local pub vibe. Was recommended to us by one of the farmhouse owners in the area, and didn’t regret taking her recommendation. 10/10!!
