Filosophi

I was looking forward to visit Filisophi and finally had the chance! The place was well setup. The ambiance was pleasant and inviting. The staff were great as we were taken care of during our visit. They have a separate menu for lunch and dinner and their options were great at a good price. We had a few of the food options plus desserts and they were amazing and all tasted delicious. It was a wonderful experience!

My sister insisted we go to Filosophi. We went around 2pm on a Saturday, so it was decently packed but still decently quiet. The amount of each serving justifies the price. Food was great; we'll be back to try the others for sure.Food: 5/5

Excellent, excellent, excellent! Our server was a real salesman. He knew the menu very well, made all the right suggestions, and was very engaging and friendly. The food was outstanding! Love this place and will definitely be back.

From the very start it was a great experience. The atmosphere was very intimate and cozy. Our server was friendly and personable. We had a couple of drinks and they were made perfect. The kale and spinach cheese dip was very delicious. Our food came quickly, the steak was a little under but not enough to make a big difference. My ribs were falling off the bone and the soup was mouth watering. The Oreo cheese cake was creamy and smooth and the brownie coconut pecan was almost as good. Over all it was a wonderful evening and I am looking forward to returning to try more of the menu.

We decided to stop in Filosophi as we've heard great things about the food and cafe and we had not been yet. The rumours were right. We were greeted by kind staff and the server was spectacular. The food was just as good. I went with the house burger and have to say it might be the new best in the city! We also had the Calamari with house made tzatziki. And a power bowl as the chef determines. The staff and management were very accommodating to us as we have a dairy Allergy for our child and they were able to make changes and identify the foods breads as well that included any dairy in the product. Looking forward to going back, even to enjoy a great cappuccino.

Great meal and nice restaurant. I had the Steelhead Cakes and Shrimp Saganaki-2 appetizers instead of a meal. Very good! Had the Raspberry Vanilla Sour to drink on recommendation from our server, refreshing and delicious. And for dessert the phyllo cheesecake was amazing! Dessert selection was beautiful. Service was a little slow to start then excellent, she must’ve been busy at first. Hunter was friendly, patient and informative when answering all our questions and her recommendations when requested were perfect. Thank you for the great ladies evening out! Parking: Hard to find a spot, the other guests were saying how difficult it was to park as the parking lot was pretty full and street parking is only 1 hour.

Went for a relaxed anniversary supper. This was our first visit, but definitely not our last! The service was excellent, as were the food and beverages. Our server, Branden, was very knowledgeable and attentive, which made for a wonderful experience. We even took home a piece of cheesecake for later!

Always a good experience so far. The meals are delicious, service is very good and a nice atmosphere. You cannot miss the calamari. The baklava cheesecake is to die for! We also tried the baked spinach dip and the orecchiette from the pasta menu yumm!Food: 5/5

Not very good. The restaurant looks lovely and has a large patio which is great for the summer. However, the food was mediocre at best. I had the fettuccini and it lacked flavour. Another in our party had a flatbread which turned out to be a very expensive pepperoni pizza that was lacklustre. Another in our party had a burger, but the rocket was wilty and oversauced and the fries were so salty to the point of being inedible. It was a very expensive meal, which would have been fine if the food was great, but it was not.

We have been to Filosophi numerous times. The space is lovely, the service is excellent, the food is excellent. It is competitively priced and portions are generous. It definitely deserves to be a top five restaurant to visit in Saskatoon.
