They often have a spot open for you as they have a lot of hair stylists. I just always end up with the same haircut which is never what I ask. I go there when I need something quick.
I don't know if the good reviews are fake or really just because those specific hairdressers were good, but what I read is far from the experience I had and I do not understand how they could get 4.2 as a rating when pretty much every women has left a bad review. So maybe this should be a masculine hairsalon... I have been there twice, both times with different hairdressers. The first time the cut wasn't bad but the styling was for a grandma. The second time convinced me to never go back except if you really just want shorter hair and don't care what you look like at the end. When I went the second time it was to have my hair professionaly cut shoulder lenght to help my migraines. I tried to show her pictures of what I wanted but she just cut me and was like "yeah yeah, you want layers." And cut the conversation there. She then proceed to try to comb my hair with those plastic small tooth combs which made no sense because I have very thick hair, so she got impatient and just decided to cut where the hair would stay stuck instead of just changing her tool... After that she proceed by giving me the worst mushroom layers that looked so horrible I had to find ways to hide it and make it work. I literally ended-up with the same haircut as someone I didn't like and she's like 20-30 years older than me... All this and I still have not emphasized enough how horrible the hairdresser's attitude was.
I would give ZERO STARS if I could I got a perm there and asked specifically not to have tight curls, I wanted big curls to give body. I even showed the lady like 10 pictures to show what I wanted. She showed me the rods she would use and I said those looked small, was she sure it would give the result I wanted. She said to trust her that she had 30 years experience. So I trusted, and I walked out with a very tight curl, frizzed up like I stuck my finger in a power outlet. I spent $200 for this + hundreds on hair treatments after. After 2 months I still hate my hair. Also, the receptionist sees people waiting at the desk and ignores in order to chat with co-workers. Also very rude and acted like I was bothering her. Not first time I encountered a rude receptionist at Figarelle. I wish I could get my money back and my hair back. I have literally been crying for 2 months every time I look in the mirror.Service: Curly hair
Hairdressers are nice but even if you hate the job they did, they will blame you or the previous job. It's a "never again" for me. I tried several different staff and colors. None of the times I went there came out right
My appointment was for 11 am sat there until 1-:27 before hairstylist was ready. She had a young man translator and trainee, I asked for a shoulder length layered cut, when I got home it was all uneven on sides, she gave me bangs to short, I had to go to another place to have it fix. Total disaster going there
Rachel did an excellent job. At first there was a little hiccup with pricing but Rachel was very professional and made sure my hair looked awesome and respected my budget.
I used to go here all the time with a professional hair stylist named Alex. He would do my hair and leave it cut styled and colored for a reasonable price and great atmosphere which kept me comming back. He has since moved to a different hair salon and yesterday my experience was turned from a 5star to 1. I booked a long session to re-dye my hair and a lightening for my boyfriend's long blonde hair. He asked for even lightning. My hair was washed and left to get cold and wet on my head for 25 minutes while my hair stylist was dying someone else's hair on my time booking. When she did cut my hair it was uneven and I got charged 3x the price than I would have for the hair color and it was a minimal cut. My boyfriend who asked for an even light to his blonde hair had 5 levels lighter and incredibly uneven with very bleached roots and yellow tips and worse was left wet and unfinished and charged $550. That is also 3x the price that I was quoted before and the outcome was aweful. 0/10Services: Hairstyling
I drove 40 minutes and came exactly 8 minutes late for my appointment. Joelle, the receptionist, told me it was more than 10 minutes and VERY late, even though I was showing her my phone with the time. She told me the hairdresser was already waiting for another client and couldn’t take me.
The worst place to get a haircut. The girl at the reception is super rude, last time I was late for 2 mins they gave me attitude and didn’t want to take me for a haircut and today they are late for 15mins and the girl just shrugs!! How about you practice what you preach and take people on time!! Do yourself a favour don’t go here for a haircut.
