Story

Ferrante Winery is a family-owned and operated winery since 1937. The original winery was established in Cleveland's Collinwood area by Nicholas and Anna Ferrante. In the 1970's, their sons Petter and Anthony built modern winemaking facilities in the family's Harpersfield Township vineyards. And, in the 1980's their families developed a thriving restaurant to showcase wine and food.

Nicholas Ferrante, third-generation Winemaker, boasts his Signature Series wine produced from premium estate grown grapes such as Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Gewürztraminer, in addition to our very special Ice Wines made from Vidal Blanc and Cabernet Franc grapes.

White Wines
Chardonnay Reserve- GRV
Barrel fermented in French oak and aged Sur Lie. Tropical aromas and flavors of pineapple, coconut and citrus are complimented with a rich textured finish.

Chardonnay- GRV- Signature Series
Tank fermented and partial barrel aging, aromas of pear and melon with buttery vanilla finish.

Pinot Grigio-GRV- Signature Series
Tropical aromas and flavors of pear, melon and citrus with a creamy finish.

Gewurztraminer- GRV- Signature Series
Spicy citrus aroma and flavor, floral notes, off dry!

Golden Bunches Dry Riesling
Aromas and flavors of pineapple, peach, and green apple. Off-dry, long finish with crisp acidity.

Vino della Casa White
Off-dry blend of Vidal, Cayuga, Chardonnay, and Riesling. Light and refreshing!

Riesling-American- Concordance Gold at 2011 Ohio Wine Competition
Aromas and flavors of peach, apricot and citrus fruits. Off-dry finish.

Riesling-GRV-Signature Series
Aromas and flavors of apple, peach, and lime, lending to a honeyed finish!

Vidal Blanc- GRV
Aromas of apricot and citrus fruits. Apricot flavors, crisp acidity.

Bianco
Medium sweet, fresh grapey aroma and made from Niagara grapes.

Cabernet Franc Rose
Dry varietal rose, fruit crushed and held for skin contact before pressing. Berry aromas and flavors.

Cabernet Franc-GRV- Signature Series
Aromas and flavors of berry, dried fruits and spice. Fruit forward style with aging in American and French barrels.

Pinot Noir
Soft fruity light red with berry aromas and flavors.

Merlot
Rich berry and intense jammy aromas and flavors. Big style Merlot complimented by soft tannins.

Vino della Casa Red
Off-dry blend of red varieties with dark berried fruit aromatics and flavors, followed by a soft finish.

Rosso
Sweet version of "Dago Red" with a fresh juicy aroma and grapey flavor.

Raspberry Blanc
Grape wine with red raspberry concentrate. Berry aromas and flavors, finished sweet with crisp acidity.

Cranberry Blanc
The perfect Fall wine!!! Grape wine with tart cranberry concentrate. Berry aromas and flavors, finished sweet with a crisp acidity.

Vidal Blanc Ice Wine
Select estate grown grapes frozen on the wine. Aromas of rich apricot and orange blossoms with flavors of honey and ripe melon.
