Why do old folks take naps?….. Because we can! Naps are wonderful no matter what age you are and if you can watch tv while doing it , we’ll your just that much closer to heaven. My problem is I was waking with sore backs and an assortment of pain in a variety of areas. I Loved my yellow couch , couldn’t afford to buy new one , and everything else was like new. It was the cushions I sat and napped on that were the problem. Enter FDY FURNITURE when I called a nice guy named TOM came to the rescue. He took the time to educate me on the different foams used in couch cushions that may double as a bed from time to time. We settle on a foam they had in stock and I was able to wait while they got done. A little side bar none of the other places had the foam in stock and had to order it plus their prices were higher!! Anyway when I sat on the newly foamed cushions, which looked brand new, for the first time I had to fight back the tears of joy. No more sinking into a hole not unlike Edmonton’s famed potholes. I now have a brand new couch which, I tried it out first, is awesome for sleeping. I spent a fraction of what a comparable quality couch would have cost me. My experience with TOM at FDY FURNITURE was a good one. Good price . Good job. Good results. Good people. Don’t think you can ask for more. Kudos to Tom and staff at FDY Furniture. You did good

Called them to repair the center button of a cushion that had fallen off. The repair took 5 minutes and they didn’t even charge me! So friendly and efficient, I highly recommend them. They have a TV that scrolls through a photo gallery of recent projects they completed, and they all looked professionally completed. Thanks, I’ll be back!

Ever had a sofa cushion seam fail. Yeah, it is very annoying. Tried to hide it by flipping the cushion, but that only works for so long. Well, I'm annoyed no longer......FDY Furniture came to my rescue. In only a few minutes the cover was removed and the seam fail reviewed. After a short time in the back of the shop the repaired cushion cover was back and the cushion was restored to its former glory. Thank you, Laurel and FDY!!!

I contacted FDY looking for some replacement pull string for venetian blind after most other blind companies in Edmonton refused to sell me any, only wanting to charge me a small fortune to fix my blind for 5 minutes work. FDY was happy to help and provided me with a few yards of cord that I needed at no cost. What great customer service!

I had my sofa pillows - two very large ones and two smaller ones - completely redone by Fdy. The quality is superb. Many thanks to Aga for helping me narrow down my selection for the fabric. She has a good eye for colour and fabric choices that suited what I wanted. Many thanks to the the people at Fdy that made the pillows. This is the 4th project over the last 12 years that Fdy has done for me. The quality and the service is top notch.

I work in the daycare next door, and have had lots of items made by FDY for the children, such as pillows and and smaller furniture for children. The quality is amazing and it is so durable, we have had no issues. Would highly recommend this company for any of your interior needs.

I don't usually write reviews but the guy working here deserves one. I needed a custom fit mattress for my van which he measured out for me, climbing into my van for proper dimensions. Then, as I was in a jam to pick it up before returning home to BC, he found a way to ship it to me down in Calgary where I was at the time. They went above and beyond to accommodate me and the mattress is great.

Had foam replaced in sofa cushions then later realized I had made a poor choice of the foam. FDY replaced the foam without a problem. Excellent service and great price. They definitely value their customers.
