This place has a lot of innovative kebabs. The portions are very generous. And, they start serving you with a free soup at least in our experience. They have special items on weekends, too. The team are super friendly and the quality of good was great.
You can either dine in, can sit about max 12-15ppl, or take out. I assume they can cater as well thanks to the big central kitchen in the back. We ordered lamb neck, kebab of a mixed lamb and beef patty, a salad, saffron rice pudding, salty yogurt soda. Kebab was super juicy and tender. Lamb neck tastes like it’s previously frozen but meat fell off the bone. The crispy rice is very authentic. The lady at the cashier is super friendly! A nice spot to stop after a day ski trip from cypress or grouse.
Went there for dinner, was told that Tehrani Kabob is their signature dish so went ahead and ordered it. My best experience in Persian food so far, variety of amazingly grilled meat put together in a kabob with very flavorful seasonings. Served with a very delicate saffron rice cake on top . Perfectly charred yet juicy tomatoes to balance off the natural fat and grease from the kabob, it was an orchestra of flavors that leaves you dreaming of this food even when you're home. Needless to say, solid 5 stars for this place.
The food here is absolutely delicious...it surpassed my expectations. The chicken wings and kebabs were really tasty and the presentation was really good too. Definitely coming back.Food: 5/5
First time trying this place, a recommendation of a friend. Impressed by the taste of food we ordered. The gentleman who was helping us with our order recommended the chicken bone in dish and of course the lamb shank... wow! It did not disappoint. It is a great hole on the wall, family operated food place. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area.
Amazing food! I believe by far it’s the best Persian restaurant in Vancouver. Not only the food, but also staff and service are great. They’re so hospitable and welcoming. I definitely will go back there soon and I highly recommend anyone who likes Persian to try it. Oh, by the way, photos are real!!! I wasn’t excepting the food be exactly like what I see in the menu which usually is the case, but here it was exactly the same! Bug portion and wonderful taste.
Best Best Best Persian food in Vancouver so far! The chef is super respectful and professional and he knows what he's doing very well. I loved the food quality! There isn't that much space for dine in though.
we are so lucky to have this gentleman from LA in town. Mr. Tehran makes the absolute best persian food you can find in this planet. You cannot even get this quality food in Iran. Amazing! 10/10
The BEST Persian restaurant in Vancouver! We ordered Tahchin with chicken and eggplant, as well as the Tehrani kebab. The kebab was so juicy, fresh, and flavorful. The tahdig was also amazing! The Tahchin is also very recommended. It's the best Tahchin you could ever find in Vancouver. The chef & the owner are also very nice and super helpful! We will definitely be back
The food is absolutely spectacular. Such a great find! There is nothing better than finding a hidden gem in your neighborhood and then putting them on to all your friends. Farsi Food in North Vancouver is my new favorite spot. It's a Persian restaurant, and the best that I've had in Vancouver so far. The staff was friendly, accommodating and provided a lovely overall experience. Top notch. At first I got start with a fresh warm soup offered by dear Sahar while I was waiting for my food. I ordered "Tehrani Kabab" which was one of the chef's special, this was absolutely delicious and a must have! The portion sizes are big. This is a must try spot if you're in the area. They serve a variety of traditional dishes that represent Iran and its diversity. Trust me, you won't leave disappointed or hungry. Thank you Mr. Tehrani, Ms. Azita and lovely Sahar. Cheers,
