I’ve been wondering what was going on with this building and saw that it was finally open. The food is pretty good! Very reasonably priced, and quite tasty. The decor choices are welcoming and the space is huge would be good for a large family gathering or a friend group. The portions are generous. I’ll def be back.

Nice and spacious area.The staff are very friendly and respectful. The dishes are really tasty and big , I couldn’t even finish it. The price are very reasonable. Highly recommend ,definitely will go again.

Our first time visiting Chelo and we are very impressed.The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a modern yet rustic feel that is both stylish and comfortable. The menu features a variety of traditional Persian dishes and flavors. The flavors are bold and rich, with a perfect balance of spices. We ordered the chicken, beef and lamb. My favourite is the jejeh, chicken is so tender and juice. Next favourite is the kubideh, beef is full of flavour. I love their rice too, very aromatic. The service is excellent. Our sever greeted us with a big smile, served us hot water with lemon without us asking. It was a cold raining day. She was also very friendly to our kids, making conversation and joking with them. Overall, Chelo is a restaurant that should not be missed. Whether you are a fan of Persian cuisine or simply looking for a new dining experience, we highly recommend it! We will certainly be back again.

Amazing taste and good portion. Owner is friendly! The restaurant is in soft opening stage. Huge space. My only minor suggestion is to include a pickled vegetable with the lamp shank! But this is my personal preference only. Great addition to the neighborhood.

Took 1 hour to receive our orders. Management and services were disaster. Orders came cold. Eventhough prices are still reasonable but they're gradually increasing prices. koobideh and joojeh kabab were good but cold. Size of joojeh kabab was disappointing. I would prefer to pay more but receive better service. Line up for paying the bill took almost 15 mins! I cannot recommend this place to others.

Super poor customer service. We have been sitting for more than 2 hours and barely got a service. After 2 hours they let us know that they run out of the food we selected and decided to bring something else for us without even asking. The food tastes good tho

Assuming the restaurant is in its soft launch phase hence the blandness of the space and lack of customer service. Prices of reasonable. My feedback is to charge 50% more but provide proper service. Jooje kabob quality was good. On arrival we were told there is a 30 min wait, took a much longer time to receive food. Edit: Appreciate the response will be back to try again.

I have been there on several occasions and I must say the food is both prepared and presented professionally. The sitting area is very clean and up to standard but there's a lack of vibe which can be improved by adding some lighting fixtures, paintings and whatnot! When it comes to service there is a consistency in the food quality and how it is served but its a different story when it comes to fees! It'd be great if the management makes their mind on the menu and stick with it at least for a short while rather than alternating it on daily basis. Also, please let the customers decide how much they are willing to tip. All in all, it is good food at fair prices.

By far the BEST Persian/Mediterranean cuisine on the North Shore. Words cannot express how delicious my food was. My family and I tried many dishes and each was better than the last. The food was made from scratch as it was so fresh and tasty. The restaurant was modern, clean, well priced and had a welcoming ambiance. My food came quickly. I have also taken out food experience was the same. The staff were very friendly and truly cared about our experience. Making the customers happy was the TOP priority. My family cannot wait to go back. I am quite picky about my restaurants and I found this restaurant to be exceptional. I’m so happy I found this gem on the North Shore!
