Story

Farmer Gene’s Campground, LLC is under new ownership. Gene Gagas purchased the former Kastle Kampground in May 2014. Our campground has over 500 sites offering both seasonal and weekend guests. We invite your family to join us and enjoy our swimming pool, kiddie pool and hot tub. The Barn and Feeding Trough Bar and Grill will be open for business Monday through Sunday starting Memorial Day Weekend, as will our poolside bar The Chicken Coop. We offer tons of activities to include miniature golf, numerous playgrounds and Kinney Lake with a dock and beach area.

My family has come to this campground and many others for my entire life. The current owners of this campground are by far the worst we have encountered. The Halloween weekend is more like an alcohol-fueled free-for-all. This past year, multiple members of our group were reprimanded for speeding on golf carts (according to the owners). The golf carts have no speedometers, so how do they expect people to know if they are going above five miles an hour? And why is it that not a single drunk driver (there were many) was confronted? I am led to assume that the owners are too afraid to confront their intoxicated patrons because they are the holders of seasonal sites and, by extension, are the main source of business. It's sad that profit trumps the law in their eyes.

Great staff, Gene and Brenda make you feel welcome and are always helpfull. We are looking forward to good times and fun next season.

Fantastic gem. A nice little resort with sir cabins, rv hookups and tent camping options. Pool, hot tub, mini golf, disk golf, playgrounds and entertainment all included with cost of stay. Had a good time at Octoberfest celebration with polka and authentic German faire. We will definitely return next year

Lots of activities for everyone. Pool, a lake to swim or fish in. Great atmosphere. A bar that serves food and good drinks.

Family and pet friendly. Staff are helpful at All times. Grounds are clean... after a busy weekend, not a piece of paper can be found. They have lots of fun activities planned for all ages.
