Farm Boy

Cool cross between a grocery store, produce market and restaurant. Tons of specialty products, good cheese and deli section, great bakery. They also have their own product line that is quite good. The big draw, though, is the huge salad / hot bar. They also have soup, fresh pizza, stir-fry and sandwiches etc. Great place to pick up prepared food that is relatively healthy still. If I can't make dinner at home, this a way better option than most take out.

My absolute favourite when it comes to shopping for my groceries! From a great quality and variety to friendly staff always willing to help, Farm Boy has been the best place to shop if you want products that are not filled with preservatives, fillers, colours and artificial flavours. Their branded lines are mostly just that: clean, honest food. I was bit disappointed looking at their spices department as most of the blends contained MSG, but at least they don't hide it under some cleaver phrase like 'Natural flavours' or 'extracts'. Their prepped food section and salad bar is absolutely delicious and fresh. The fact that they focus on locally sourced foods makes it one of the most community engaged grocers, which is great to see. I am happy to see this chain expanding their network of stores so rapidly! A well deserved success.

Great salad bar with both hot and cold options. The steak was tough, but the other items I tried were delicious. There's also a salad bar card that nets you a discount every ten salad bar purchases. The pies are also very good - the cherry in particular.

The pizza there is amazing! They also have very good organic and healthy food. A bit pricey but worth it.

Great alternative grocery with bistro. Fresh produce with a nice deli. A bit over priced for products that are not 'farm not brand. I love this store and it's unique specialty items but be aware you will spend more and the expiration dates are short due to the natural freshness of the products.
