This used to be an awesome store before loblaws bought out the company. Now the bread aisle is moldythe entire section the fruit flies are enormous and everywhere. The fruit is moldy as well. They just aren't getting the same quality of food as they used to. I blame loblaws. The staff however are friendly and courteous. No complaints about the cashiers. There is a Lady in the kitchen who is wonderful and makes the best mashed potatoes ever.
Super friendly store and super fresh food. I tried their rib eye steaks last week rubbed with salt, pepper, Lebanese garlic sauce and olive oil and they were the best steaks I ever had.
all farmboys are the best place for real food, decent prices sometimes a lil pricier, but your body your temple, treat it as such. Some are smaller than others, not laid out well,... but... its not about the lay out. it's about the food, quality, and authenticitynnNever mind all these rest of the grocery stores.. most are gmo this n that. some organics are not organic. nothing but bait n switch. Farm Boy is our last best chance at a grocery store that is what it says it is....
We are new to this Farm Boy but having used others, I knew that I could trust the quality of food and the other items, I also enjoyed the fact that I could pick up ready to eat food or ask them to prepare stir fry or something else.
My go to Farm Boy in Ottawa for the last 3 years. Big space with lots of options for take away food, fish and meat counter and many vegetables and fruits.
