The store is spacious and plenty of parking spots are available in front of it. It has a great collection of fresh vegetables and fruits. The staff are helpful and friendly; the store is clean and well-maintained. They usually have great offers on fruits and vegetables. Now that restrictions have been removed and we are in the phase 3 of reopening, they have a few tables outside the store for anyone who wants to buy food from the store and sit down to enjoy their food.
I love shopping at Farm Boy and wish there was one closer to home. Whoever does the fish display has a sense of humour. These trout look so surprised!
Called your store today at 13:30hr and spoke to a grocery clerk about unpasteurized sauerkraut. He checked for me and confirmed you sold it. I was on my way, when I arrived I was shocked at this beautiful store and the quality of the food I saw and bought lol as luck would have it the same young man who spoke with me on the phone showed me to my sauerkraut. Wish I knew his name so he could get a well deserved pat on the back. Wonderful customer service so much so I’m now going to make this store a go too. Amazing quality and next level customer service. Great work.
Was really excited when this farm boy came to Burlington. They had loads of plant based items to offer that were unique and delicious. These days very limited selection for a plant based diet. I drive way out of my way to get there with my fingers crossed they’ll have their plant based croissants in stock which are fantastic. Last five visits, none. 5 visits! So, that’s that for me shopping here. I understand selling out sometimes but not ALL the time. Probably watching your waste…but effectively killing your sales.
First time in this location as I was visiting a friend in the neighborhood and I was amazed at the customer service. Not only was I greeted at the door and welcomed, a lovely called Avibash I believe approached offering to help me find what I was looming for. She went into the back to get it and then put it up at the cash for me. I've never encountered this level of service at a large gull scale grocery store and my expectations were exceeded. Well done Farm Boy.
Saturday february 11 2023. Is the dark haired girl with glasses trying to be “efficient”? Feels disrespectful to my food - like it is being rushed. An expensive food container opened up in the car and was ruined. I know that when i was holding the container it was absolutely sealed well. Please get with the times. Install self checkout. I absolutely hate when cashiers ruin my grocery run. Money down the drain. But hey at least she’s “efficient”....
Excellent specialty supermarket. Their slogan says “it’s all about the food” and you can instantly feel that when walking through the doors. They have a large variety of fruits and vegetables that aren’t always available elsewhere and they look and taste very fresh. They offer lots of simple processed food that they make themselves such as preserves, sauces, juices, etc. they also have a wide selection of ready made hot meals, a salad bar, a few different kinds of soup, and a large bakery section that makes all the goodies. I haven’t tried their ready made food or baked goods but I can surely vouch for the freshness of the fruits and vegetables. Staff are also very friendly and patient. Not your typical supermarket where you will find all you’re looking for but if fresh, locally made food is what you’re after then this is the place for you.
Used to be a great place to get fresh food. Now the produce is usually old, chicken is under cooked. As far as their "fresh" food is concerned, it's gone down hill drastically in the last several months.
Good selection on items unavailable in most stores. Awful staff—unfriendly. They should fire most of them and invest in self-serve cash. At least their personal indifference would be appropriate and expected.
I love the layout of the store, the employees are super friendly and very helpful, they truly define 'service with a smile' Thank you guys for all your hard work and kindness! I will definitely be back :
