No Frills is the 3rd retail chain store I'm visiting in Canada. So far, my highest single purchase was made here too. They have a lot of farm fresh produce, and most of their products are fairly priced. This one stop store offers a lot of variety from fresh food items to packed and tinned food. Also personal and home care items. Food and other items for babies are not left out too. Paying and checking out was quite quick too.
I love going nofrills because lots of cheaper price and sale. I went last week and they have tons of sale like BUY 2 OR MORE FOR $2 so every sale I need I grab 2 each, so finally I'm done and went to cashier I was looking while the cashier scanning I said sorry excuse me it's on sale and the cashier said you have to buy more, I said what? it's says buy 2 or more for $2 that's why I grab 2 each , and I ask her to explain how the sale works and she told me to do survey. Sometimes I don't pay attention while someone scanning but that time I was looking and checking. I dont do survey but this time I was upset.
I think we know what NoFrills are like. You might assume alot of product dumped in packed bins and maybe difficult to move around. Well thats the furthest from the truth here. It must have been the pandemic that smartened them! No one wants to go into a crowded store and have difficulty getting around product no matter people. The lanes are clear and clean and there is still plenty of product. Only have issue with the dollar to get a buggy. It doesn't say accessible to all, but could be better for recovery of the buggies with less theft. That is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars.
The store is clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. The prices are good, also.
By the Downtown Burlington. It's good to buy your groceries and bunch of sale
At least half the cashiers are very rude in this location. They lack basic customer service skills. They need to be trained / retrained urgently. Clearly I'm not the only one who finds them rude.
Got attitude from a older male employee stocking shelves for simply asking if they carried a particular product. Experiences like this makes it easier going down the street to Walmart to shop.
The washroom was very smelly and dirty, but at least they had a washroom open to the public. Otherwise the store was fairly well maintained with good stock.
Nice and clean store with friendly staff and great selection of groceries. It's a discount grocer so the meat and produce is what it is
I had issues trying to read the keypad at checkout- the most cheerful cashier went out of her way to help me, I wish I had her name-
