Fancy Tarts

They have a variety of butter tarts on hand. If you want something else, special order it. The tarts were good. They were a bit sloppy looking, but the crust was fresh and good and the filling was not too sweet. The ladies who were there were so nice and friendly. The store is super cute. And they offered free brittle with any purchase. Yum!

Spotted the sign as we drove back down Springbank drive, had to stop, glad we did. The pecan butter tarts were consumed the next day on our drive home and almost made us turn around for more. What a friendly place, attentive to detail, and the proof is in the product.

Ordered a strawberry pie, 6 lemon meringue tarts and 6 assorted butter tarts for my Dad's birthday since I wouldn't be there I live out of province Grew up in London and somehow wasn't aware Fancy Tarts existed, but they will be my go-to for pastry orders for loved-ones moving forward. My family couldn't say enough good things about them! The staff were also incredibly wonderful to deal with on the phone. Great experience all around. Looking forward to a post-pandemic world where I can safely come home to visit and try them out myself!

These are the best tarts ever!!! We have gotten tarts from here many times. My family's favourites are the pecan, walnut & coconut. Perfect every time, always taste amazing. We always get such friendly service also, highly recommend!!

My family stumbled upon Fancy Tarts many months ago and it has become a fixture in our home ever since that day. My wife and I constantly have butter tarts in the fridge and my parents continue to order all of their goodies on a monthly basis. I also ordered four pies for my workplace in March and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. The coconut and apple pies were undoubtedly the best I have ever consumed. Whether it's their incredible butter tarts or spectacular pies, Fancy Tarts have the best desserts in all of London, Ontario! Let's continue to spread the word.

THE BEST! Recently enjoyed a selection of tarts which come in delicious flavours for our wedding. Our wedding planner was worried we had ordered too many but let me tell you, they were ALL GONE within minutes of putting them out for our guests. They were SUCH a hit! Everyone was asking where they can place their order. The quality, ingredients, texture, taste were all absolutely DELISH! Look forward to ordering again in the future

I don't agree with the negative feedback. How can you rate their tarts without tasting one? We make the drive down from Sarnia solely to pick up these tarts. When we tell our friends that we are going to Fancy Tarts we end up buying dozens! They are the best butter tarts I've ever had! They freeze exceptionally well. I also really enjoy the cherry cheesecake tarts too. The shop is clean and cute - I don't believe it is meant to be a sit down cafe. They have a nice website that describes all their wares. I preorder thru the site and arrange a pick up time. I love Fancy Tarts!

I never visited Fancy Tarts in all the years it has been there 5 thinking that place will go out of business sooner or later. Well after i went in I found out why they have survived with such a limited baked goods selection. I bought two raisin butter tarts, took one to the gal in the Freedom store as a thank you for her help, and devoured the other one on the way home. If you pay for quality you get quality and they taste soooooo good. I will be back again but just be aware that is a family run business and hours of operation can vary. You could call ahead if you unsure but I am new to smartphones so I just walk down the street for a quick visit. Have a wonderful day.

This is the best family bakery ever! Everything is handmade..you can even watch as they take the rolling pin over the lump of pastry flour and turn it into the best.... best....best! tarts and pie pastry you've ever had!

I walked in to check out "Fancy Tarts" and did not know what to do. No display cases and no signs. I wasn't sure if it was a sit down place because there was a family sitting down in the back. When the owner came out she explained they sell "fancy tarts" and date squares. The tarts were sitting on cookie sheets on a cooling rack, no attempt to an appealing display at all. When the owner showed us the tarts, I felt like I wouldn't have accepted one if I was offered one for free. Not sure how this place stays in business, must have a few repeat customers because they are certainly not attracting new ones.
