I ordered a shawarma sandwich and when I went to work to eat it, I realized the chicken was so old and hard that I couldn't even chew it. It was the worst shawarma I've ever had. Some part of it was even burned. I don't recommend this place at all.
chicken shawarma: chicken was a bit dry and overcooked, but he loaded it up and gave lots of toppings. Overall a pretty solid shawarma. Chicken was well seasoned with cumin, in case that turns you off. Experience was good enough that i'll be going back.
Stopped in for some fresh pitas and grabbed a chicken shawarma. Staff was amazing, gave me a falafel to try while I waited. Easily best shawarma I've ever had. I'll be telling anyone who will listen.
Loved the chicken fattoush and the pockets are very tasty. Service is very friendly a hidden gem
Best shawarma in town. This is a family run business. They're always pleasant and polite. They can get busy in peak hours but it's worth the wait. Portion sizes are great and the prices are fair. My favourite is the chicken schawarma in a bowl rather than the pita.
They Have These Unique Panzerotti's That Are delicious !! I ordered One Thinking they Would Ask me what toppings I Wanted but they Don't. it's A Panzerotti With Chicken, Spinach ,Cheese And tomato sauce .I Loved Them !! The Dough tastes Really Soft And fresh.
The food speaks for itself, it’s great. They make the pita bread for all of the good sandwich shops in the city as well as some of the very best and super affordable mini pizzas - some of my favourite falafel. That is all well and good but today the man ringing me up not only had his mask around his neck but also one of the strings was broken and he didn’t seem to even know. When I mentioned to the lady working “the person ringing me through should be wearing a mask” she simply replied “I know he should” - and the man simply said “okay thank you sir” in an angry tone. The only person who handled the whole thing properly was the tall cook who tried to tell the man to wear a mask and who was the only one to apologize. The food is too good to stay away forever but honestly if you’re worried about the pandemic then avoid Friday’s for a while
Friday's makes the best shawarma in the city! The chicken shawarma is delicious, and the shawarma pizza special on Mondays have become a favourite family tradition. The staff are super friendly too!
Great pita bread and chips. Toum is delicious! The hot food I had was pretty good. Can range a bit in quality and freshness depending on what time you go. Overall great value and run by friendly people!
Friday's is a honestly authentic pita bakery. The staff are very down to earth and very nice. The main business is the pita bakery, however they also serve an outrageously delicious shawarma. After I was recommended this place by a coworker I no longer go anywhere else for shawarma. Make sure you check the hours before you go however. They are a bakery and as such are only open until 6 most days excluding Fridays.
