Family Physiotherapy has been providing client focused physiotherapy and massage therapy services consisting of manual therapy, custom exercise programs, acupuncture and personalized care since 2007. I've been coming to this clinic for about 4 years now and first came only because it was one of the closest clinics around our place. I'm really glad to have found this place because the staff that I've interacted with (three I think) have all been professional and courteous. In terms of physiotherapists, my husband and I have been with Peter and have found that for our complex issues he has been able to get to the root of the problem. What I thought would be too difficult to treat because I had been experiencing the issue for a while turned out to be something that was related to my pregnancies a couple of years back. Along with treatment and home-based exercises things are improving and the back issue has become less and less. I've used one other physiotherapist and a massage therapist as well and those staff have also been knowledgeable and professional.

I have been an injury-prone runner since I had my 2 children. I have seen other practitioners with some success, but Darryl took the time to get to the root of the problem, and now I can run without the fear of injury. He has a mix of expert knowledge of the body and how it should work as well as a very strong intuition that is hard to find. During each session he has a treatment plan, but is always assessing as he goes which enables him to follow what your body is telling him in terms of where the core issues might be. I also appreciate the fact that he has a very large base of home exercises to choose from and was able to choose the 1 or 2 most powerful exercises for me to do between each session, I was never overwhelmed with too many exercises to do at home. He is also an excellent teacher and so now that I am discharged I am aware of what to watch for in terms of my "bad habits" and know how to correct them.

Susan Leung is an excellent physiotherapist. She is knowledgeable and very professional; she has a wide set of tools under her belt and she is always looking for the best way to approach an issue. Susan always treated me with kindness and I'm very grateful to have found a physiotherapist that is genuinely interested in her patiences' wellbeing.

I have been coming to Family Physiotherapy for about 10 years. I am indebted to Tanya; Darryl & Peter. Everyone; from staff at the front desk to therapists, are friendly; professional & accomodating. Peter helped me to recover post the Boston Marathon & today I worked out for the first time in 5 weeks after suffering a concussion & whiplash- thanks to Peter’s “ golden hands” .

It's a relatively new relationship, I've been going there for about a month, once a week, but I'm very pleased with what I've seen and the way I've been treated, so it's likely to continue for a while
