Great Location, close to downtown but also the highway with Great Parking. Room was comfortable, thermostat was response and everything was clean. Staff were great, very friendly. This would be a straight 5stars, but the complimentary breakfast was lacking. We've stayed at cheaper hotels who had breakfast that was head and shoulders above this.nnOverall fantastic stay, totally planning on staying here again, but also totally planning on going out and buying breakfast.
This is the nicest hotel I have ever been at. The staff here are absolutely fantastic. In the morning I went downstairs only to be greeted with good morning miss Baird. I was shocked and surprised that they truly take the time to know there patrons. Colleen is the most helpful and easy going management there. Tell her I sent you.
Very clean rooms, clean entrance, hallways, very well cleaned. Room service was good.n-prompt customer servicen-pool on the smaller sizen-rooms were minimally stocked, and lacked comfort to detail, missing things like, a comfy corner chair, a writing desk, and there was easily enough space.nThere was no pictures/art on the walls, or any side tables. One lamp was burnt out.nVery spacious room with 2 double beds, but why not have queen sized beds? There was enough space and it could have been a more comfortable sleep.nPillows were comfortable. Thick but squishy.n-beautiful view- 4th floorn-continental breakfast was a huge disappointment- packaged rubbery eggs, hash browns that looked too disgusting to try, pale white slimy sausages, no waffle machine which was available the last time we stayed at this hotel- 1 year ago,nRubbery cold hard boiled eggs,nIt looked so unappealing that I went for the oatmeal, which is always my last resort- it was so watery, it was literally poring liquid off of the spoon as I lifted it up, and it had a film of water throughout it , no thanks.nThe only fruit available were apples with bruises, no other fruit options like fresh bananas or oranges.nVery disappointed.nBreakfast was just as displeasing the next day- I only ate a piece of toast with packaged peanut butter for the three mornings we were there. My husband and two children would not eat anything.nWe stayed the previous year and it was a lot better, something changed and not in a good way.
Stayed here recently and we always appreciate the consistency of these hotels. The staff are warm and helpful and assist with storing bikes as well! This location is one of the only ones with dedicated bike storage and it's great to have!nThe hot tub here is great after a day of travelling or riding and the breakfast is always perfect for fueling up for active days. Rooms are consistently in great shape. It's obvious that the cleaning staff do excellent work here! Overall very pleased!
Not sure why this hotel is priced higher than nearby Four Points, but definitely a downgrade. My most important hotel criteria is sleeping experience. Fairfield fails, as the beds suck. Four Points - not exactly a luxury name - had vastly more luxurious sheets, mattresses at Fairfield are rock hard and not a Marriott mattress thin cheap Serta, and while the pillows are okay, on top of that mattress they're also like sleeping on rocks. Service was polite but not warm like Four Points. Hot breakfast was low end, McDonalds level, not a vegetable in sight. Elevators are fragile enough to need warning signs. Towels are scratchy. And apparently they can't even get a toilet seat that fits properly? ‍ Clearly a very cheap build and franchise owner, not worthy of the Marriott brand.
