Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Scottsbluff

I have stayed here a lot. The rooms are clean and the people friendly. Unfortunately the pool and hot tub have been out of order for several months. So if that's important I would ask if it's fixed before making a reservation. The continental breakfast is not very good for a Marriott brand hotel in my opinion. But, it's okay. Giving it 4 stars assuming they will fix the pool and Hot tub.

We booked a higher-priced “City View” room and ended up on the ground floor – no view, just confusion. Lighting in the hallway looked damaged, giving off a neglected vibe. For a Marriott-branded hotel and $170 a night, expectations were definitely higher.nnPositives: It was quiet, and the staff was genuinely friendly and helpful.nnConclusion:nNot a disaster, but for the price and the Marriott name, it fell short.

The beds were terrible. If you need a good bed, this is not your place. Also, it had a glass shower door that is in desperate need of a good cleaning. Staff was great. The pool area was nice.

Disappointing Experience Despite Convenient LocationnnThe room itself was standard for a Fairfield—clean and consistent with what you'd expect. The location is convenient, but unfortunately, the service at the front desk left a lasting negative impression.nnI checked in on Saturday the 5th of July and was met with an incredibly unfriendly attitude from the front desk associate. When I later went down to get ice since the machine on my floor wasn’t working, I felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a guest. I also asked for a bottle of water, something I’ve received without issue at every other Marriott property I’ve stayed at. Instead, she pointed dismissively toward the gym and said, “There’s water over there,” or there then walked away.nnTo top it off, I noticed a room door had been left wide open and brought it to her attention, thinking it was a safety concern. Rather than thanking me, she responded in a condescending tone, making me feel like I was foolish for mentioning it.nnThis is not the level of service I expect from a Marriott brand. I will not be staying at this location again.

Nice hotel, you had to request your room to be cleaned and could only get it every other day, which is fine how dirty do you get a room that you dont spend much time in. Then they missed the cleaning. No big deal i just got new towels and i was fine. The cleaning lady had 19 rooms that day, is that alot i dont know. I noticed the tread proectors on all the stairwells had treads that were pulling loose and could be a tripping hazzard and the shades on the lights in the hallways about half were cracked.
