Completely unethical. Like other comments, my son's trip to Europe was cancelled due to Covid. The trip insurance has not been honoured, we are out $3,600 and it appears that Explorica may have pocketed significant travel credits/reimbursements.

Like so many others here we are out thousands because a cancelled trip to Italy due to COVID. I feel like they are giving us excuse after excuse in order to tire us out and we will give up. I complained to TICO which I suggest everyone does and hopefully we get our money back before this POS company declares bankruptcy.

Cancelled trip due to Covid two months prior to departure. We also had purchased the additional “cancel for any reason” insurance. It’s been 6 months and to date we have received only 30% of our refund. Unfortunately we would never use this company again for a school trip or any other trip as they don’t stand by their own policies.

I saved up 4000$ for a school trip that got cancelled, this sorry excuse for a company has yet to reimburse me and my family the money they owe us. Lack of communication and fraudulent scams are not an excuse to not pay out thousands of dollars that are owed to us hardworking people!
