Holy smokes this place is awesome!! Very clean. Food was insanely good. Reasonably priced. Will definitely stop by next time I'm in the area.

Nachos were horrible (the actually chips were good) hardly any beef on them mostly onions... with a 10$ price tag you should get something better then that!! So I ordered the dozen wings, they were pretty good, although I asked for ranch and NEVER got it... I asked for an IPA (any ipa) never got an IPA.... stuff here is over priced for what you get. At least have great service if your food is going to be over priced, they have one lady working the tables and the bar... wait ages to order and YOU BETTER TELL HER ALL YOU WANT WHEN SHE COMES... you won't see her again for another 30 min... without service you have nothing in my opinion... this is why I only give one star... the wings were decent that's the best thing about the visit... don't get the nachos... 40$ tab... Nachos, wings, 2 beers and a shot...

Simply: I wish Excalibur Bar and Grille was in my town! Food: exceptional! Prices: incredible value! Service: Unbeatable! Lotsa words: Eighteen of us were spending a Saturday night in Gibson, PA, and Excalibur was across from our hotel, so why not. I called to make a reservation and the number of people didn't even phase the young lady on the phone. Good sign. Sat night we approach the building and WE were phased. Very non-descript, very plain, and … We walk in again, were kind of phased. Not huge, not small, but it SEEMED more of a sports bar than a restaurant (never judge a book…), but it was VERY clean, well-organized, and our table was waiting (and we were early). Amber (co-owner, hostess, barmaid, and waitress extraordinaire) cheerfully greeted us and it remained a very positive experience from there! 18 people ordered a wide variety of items: appetizers, sides, burgers, off-the-menu, and specials, and EVERYTHING (I kid you not) was exceptional! Their nachos had a lot of meat and are made with their special chips; we've never had such a light and delicious chip! Clams were fresh, delicious and surprisingly inexpensive! Burgers are made from fresh hand-tossed patties! Wings are meaty and delicious! Ham steak special was tender and perfectly seasoned! Cheesesteaks were not what we expected (several of us are from Philly) and were superb (and huge)! Pizza? Damn, for a non-NY or NJ restaurant, it was excellent! (yes, I asked EVERY person about their experience) Everything came out of the kitchen in a reasonable time, hot, cooked to order, and yeah, I'll repeat it: it was all delicious! The drinks - sodas to beers to top shelf - are very reasonably priced, dare I say underpriced! The cost of the food? We expected to pay a third to a full half more than we paid! Amber was courteous, unflustered, and was effervescent the entire evening, even with dozens of other patrons in the building! The co-owner (I never caught his name), assisted in serving and the two of them were pleasant and gracious hosts throughout the night. If you are within even an hour's drive to Excalibur Bar and Grille in Gibson, PA, I urge you to make the drive whenever possible for great food, prices, and service! And you have my jealousy!

Great place especially for a 34 reset or just a layover. This will be my spot when I slide through from now on. Owners brother (Jim, I think), cool guy and a vet. All vets are welcomed.

happened to catch the owner Lou tending the bar. great dude. self-made hard working american. if you believe in this sort of thing this is your joint too. solid beer selection, killer food and friendly folks. right next to the flying j. bring your oversized load ass in for a cocktail and some wings.
