Chet's Place

I'll share my view as somebody visiting from out of town. The venue itself is gorgeous, the view is gorgeous, the bathrooms are old and need to be redone. The drinks are good, they only had one person working on a Saturday afternoon lunch hour. We ordered two appetizers, pierogies and fried cauliflower. Pierogies were delicious, three pieces to the order was an odd count. Cauliflower was delicious when it was the small bits, the large bits were still frozen on the inside, and the outside coating was fried but the inside coating was still gummy. We had fish and chips and fried chicken and french fries platters. The fish and chips first arrived frozen, and then when they brought it back out it was overly done. It was very unappetizing and off-putting. The fried chicken was very bland, the seasonings were flower, water, salt and pepper essentially. I'm surprised it has the 4.7 out of 5-star rating. The only reason I gave it the extra star to make it two stars is because of how beautiful the venue is. The service was good, but the one person serving, as I could tell, was exhausted, and did not want to be there.

Called 3 times while we were driving there to see if they were doing last call anytime soon. Picked up once and said hello then hung up. Did it again, 3rd time picked up and hung up. Still showed up and they are closed an hour before their online times. Guess your customer service is like your food.

Standard bar food - the Chicken Chili was the soup of the day and it was fantastic. The burger and fries were overpriced and not great. Be aware, they only take cash...

Amazing food and atmosphere. Went in with a group and they were very accommodating and were flexible taking all of our orders. The fried food specifically is outstanding. Some of the best wings you can get in the area as well. Definitely recommend

Great outdoor venue! Very organized, lots of entertainment and good food!

Chets place was great! Their wings are DELICIOUS! There was a good atmosphere with lots of travelers and locals. There is a touch tunes music player but the night we were there was a live band. Our waiter was very friendly, a little inattentive but I didnt want to fault him the place was packed with only 2 wait staff. Food was reasonably priced and the restaurant was clean.

The waitress was either having a terrible day or just put off by having more than 5 people in the business at once. Snarky attitude, had to frequent the bar for more drinks...... Food was decent and the beer was cold though...

Awesome service. Amazingly nice hosts. We also stayed at their fully furnished cabin for the weekend.

Had wings today I had hot wife had bourbon flavor, they were very good. Good food, cold beer great atmosphere
