I wish I could give no star since I got no service. Its the holidays so I understand a busy store and I was in no rush. But I walked up to the tasting area 3 times. First time it was a bit crowded so I decided to walk away. The store was filled with workers restocking shelves like crazy and it made it hard to borrows. I usually go to the Vancouver store and often like to ask for recommendations so I try new things every time. None of the workers here acknowledged me so I turned back to the tasting table since they where tasting a wine I was thinking of buying as a gift. Still busy but there was a space so I moved forward and waited politely. Not only did I get ignored again but the person looked at me and then turned to an older man who walked up after me and started surviving them. I turned to my partner annoyed but he told me its fine its busy just wait. So I turned back and waited again. Only to be ignored again but they seemed to not ignore the next elderly couple that walked up. I understand that maybe I look young. But yes I am old enough to drink thank you very much. I buy 4-5 bottles of wine a month for tastings I host and am a regular at a few local wineries. I have experienced being ignored many times due to people thinking "Oh she is young she is just here for free wine." I turned around after making eye contact and smiling at the man behind the bar only for him to quickly look away. I just stopped and left. I went to the Vancouver store and their tasting bar was busy but i was treated warmly and nicely. Not only that but someone talked with me and was happy to recommend some beautiful wines for some gifts I was planning. 100% never returning to this store and will stay with my usual spot.

Check the prices when you get to the till! Too often the wine is more expensive than listed on the shelves and staff seem indifferent to your inconvenience of taking somebody back to the shelf to prove the discrepancy. Today, once again, there was 20% more charged. So for Christmas shoppers buying more than a couple of bottles, better take a pen and pad to record everything. This was my final visit. Too bad, because the store has a good selection and a very nice atmosphere.

A "Great Selection" of wines from some of the great wine regions of the world. The opportunity to pick and choose, based on a tasting, gave us the opportunity to pick a nice mix. 45 bottles purchased for the event. Well done and Thanks ...... PS: a great job on the gift wrapping too ...

My wife and I love this place! This location is particularly appealing versus the others for some strange reason. It just has a better flow of traffic inside the store. Staff is particularly knowledgeable and friendly. We are now set up and can call in our orders and are notified via email of any upcoming specials they are having... awesome... I wonder if they might branch out into imported and craft beers. Seems this format of store would work for it, maybe in its own store.
