The Evangeline Inn and Motel Inc. is comprised of three parts:
The Cafe:
The Cafe was established in the 1950's to provide a place for travellers to grab a bite to eat. Since its establishment it has grown and been renovated, however it maintains its classic homemade food. The Cafe has become known for its fish chowder, burgers and extensive pie menu.
The Inn:
Evangeline Inn is the historic boyhood home of the late Sir Robert Borden, Prime Minister of Canada 1911-1920. A monument is on the premises acknowledging the historic site. This quiet country setting in the historic village of Grand Pré reflects back to another time when life was simple. Evangeline Inn is comprised of 5 rooms. Each private room has a four piece bath, cable TV, telephone, ceiling fan, and clock radio. Three rooms have a private entrance. All rooms are non-smoking. Please no pets.
The Motel:
Evangeline Motel was built in the 1950's to provide a resting place for travellers. This quiet country setting and central location lends itself to tourists and locals alike. Evangeline Motel is comprised of 18 rooms. All units are spacious and comfortable with 4 piece bath, air conditioning, telephones and cable TV. The original 10 rooms have been extensively renovated, and 8 new rooms were added in 2004. All rooms are non-smoking. Please no pets.
