Essentially Massage

Short story: I now have to name my unborn child after Danielle. That's right, she was so good that I am going to go have a child just to name it after her. Slightly longer story: I was looking for a general deep-tissue massage when I came across this place that is highly rated . The massage was "Advanced Muscle Therapy". That didn't sound right, so I called and spoke them and decided to just go for it. Do you ever come away after a doctor appointment or massage feeling like they were winging it or didn't know what was going on? Yeah, that isn't the case here. As she went, she named every area that I had a pain in since childhood and made them feel better within a minute. Best of all, when I left I expected to hear the spiel about how I should come in once a week until the end of time to ensure nothing happens. She just said come back in 2-3 weeks one time to check up/ tune up, and then I should be good to go. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

I was prescribed massages from my chiro after 5 months of my back not getting any better because a car accident. Very nervous going into my first appointment, but they made me feel very comfortable! Not thinking massages were going to fix anything, after my first session, I could actually move my neck without moving my whole body! I don't remember anything from the crash, but from these massages, we found out a lot about why I was in so much pain. Danielle is very knowledgeable and knows exactly how to stop the pain in my back. 10/10 recommend!

I found Essentially Massage through a Living Social deal, and selected it because it was convenient to my home and work. My chiropractor had suggested massage in tandem with chiropractic adjustments. This was my first experience with a professional massage, so I was a little nervous; but the therapist was very calm, friendly and professional and made me feel at ease. The office and rooms were clean and nicely decorated in dark, calming tones, with lighting at a nice moderate level (not too bright, but not too dark to see either). The massage was therapeutic--it really worked deep tissue. I was a little sore during and after the massage (in a good way), but the therapist was responsive and kept it to a manageable level. I need to go back!

I have been seeing Danielle at Essentially Massage for over 4 years since a bad rear end collision. She made a world of difference after another massage place was only a fluff and buff. Danielle is NOT a typical massage. She incorporates all of her Orthopedic training to muscle therapy that gets the job done. I am now a runner because she has helped so much in my rehabilitation. I am a client for life!
