Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Fast and friendly service. I was never was given a bad car. I was often upgraded free of charge. I really enjoy the opportunity to do the afterhours return when I need.

I rent from them regularly and the service is always above and beyond. The place is conveniently located and there is a gas station very close by.

Terrible experience, rude customer service. A quick summary: I made a reservation for 1:30pm on a very tight timeline for a 24h work trip to Ottawa. I showed up 20 minutes early (as I usually do anytime I rent a car) in order to get the paper work done and be on the road right on time. The guy at the desk curtly encouraged me to leave, saying I had to respect the reservation and not come back before 1:30. So I left to go grab some food and some cash. At 1:27, as I'm walking and a block away, the guy calls me to say they don't have a car for me and that it could be delayed by one or two hours. So much for respecting reservation times... After a short and tense exchange on the phone (in fairness, I wasn't the most pleasant at this point either) where the guy showed no sense of apology or understanding, he assured me he would call as soon as my car was available. That was yesterday. I've since rented a car from Budget (1145 van horne, friendly, helpful, nearby, and saved my ass!), went and came back. Oh and, never got a call back from enterprise... And to the "owner" when you will inevitably post your template "response from the owner", the description above has all the details I have to give about my terrible experience. You already have all my info in your system if you actually want to make it right. But something tells me this is the first and last time I deal with enterprise. It would be zero stars if google allowed it.
