We came in for some dessert about an hour before closing and were surprised to find the place a lot busier than we expected for an ice cream shop to be in the middle of a Canadian winter.  Nonetheless, the staff were pleasant and cheerful, and served us heaping helpings of delicious Kawartha ice cream.  The value here is outstanding: even the “little baby” smallest size is enough to feed an adult and then some, and the milk shakes are also very generously topped with whipped cream. You get a lot more bang for you buck here than at other “big brand” creameries.  Pro-Tip: you can have the milk shakes made with chocolate milk instead of regular milk if you just ask.

Who's giving this place 4 stars?! Amazing ice cream is here! The baby sizes are really not that baby size, you get lots of ice cream! Incredible value. Perfect place to take your kids or a date. Cup over cone, you get far more ice cream.

Great selection of icecream and candy. The scoops are VERY generous! People working there are friendly, fast and patient as it can take a long time to pick a flavour.

Horrible location, untrained skilless employees who cant answer simple questions, and no its was the oshawa store on ritson, i ask who makes these mugs, ur reply i dont know, i ask do u have coffee ice cream, ur reply i dont know go look. Oh and before christmas i asked do u guys sell eggnog, ur lazy female employee said if we dont have it than no. Menwhile itsa ephin phone call go look at the ephin shelf and tell me, awe do ur poor lazy emoyees not waan get off the chair? If u dont wanna work stay the eph home.

Ginormous proportions, outstanding service, excellent taste   I ordered the big baby 3 flavors of your choice served in a cup or a cone, and my brother ordered a baby 2. Wish I'd got a bib to go with these

Went for Icecream. Long but fast moving line up with covid protocols social distancing and hand sanitizing. Large portions of ice-cream with sizes...little baby, baby and big baby, and delicious flavors. They also offer sorbets.

What a TREAT! I’m certain that most of us have passed by this place many times. But I’m gonna have to stop ya. Cause really this place is a hidden gem of an ice cream shop. Plenty of flavours to try, and super friendly staff that keep the lines running very fast. And HUGE portions, like pick the single scoop TRUST ME.  Our big trip ended this year with a visit to here I had never been before, thank you my family for this recommendation and I will DEFINITELY be visiting more often. Will not disappoint.

Ice cream flavors are divine!! Ice cream hard and cold, not runny like another company I tried. Staff nice. Great little store. Highly recommend.  I won't be going anywhere else from now on!!

Lovely little store with a few tables for sitting in. Lots of sauces, wooden saying, etc. The store is famous for the Kawartha ice cream.  Large portions at reasonable prices.  Many varieties to choose from.  Bear claws, banana boat, Moose tracks, Wolf claws and Death by chocolate was some of the family favorites.
